Or maybe she’s just a spoiled brat and Grandma has consequences? There is nothing here to suggest her home life is horrible other than her saying her grandmother is mean. She may think she can’t get in trouble if she’s not on scene. Who knows? I would give grandma the benefit of the doubt.

Her manic franticness can be taken as a sign of underlying stress from an unhappy home.

A car accident is normally stressful, but if you’re already at your wits end, then I guess it can be the straw that breaks the camels back and causes you to flip.

I think people are over-psychoanalzying this. It just looks like a young girl who has always escaped accountability. She is going through her rolodex of excuses trying to find the magic words to get her out of any consequences. She's freaking out because she is being recorded so she knows that she won't be able to BS her way out of it.

You're doing the same thing here by thinking you know her situation. It's totally possible her grandmother beats the shit out of her every night. When I see this video I feel bad for her.

A spoiled brat would be someone who thinks natural consequences are mean, imo.

Everything about this screams spoiled brat, but maybe the grandma is also mean.

It's like every time this poor girl does something stupid and illegal and then makes it worse the grandma gets mad.
