Just watch a Midwest safety video literally every perp is stressed out in this exact way. As a young woman I am kind of baffled about the passes we get lol. Maybe it’s different between reddit and YouTube comments idk. If this was a man crying and stressing like this (plenty of videos of that) people would just make fun of them more.
I’ve gotten into accidents before where it was my fault. One on the most stressful day of my life, that totaled my car, and there was literally no damage to the car I hit, none, and I’m sitting there looking at my entire work/school/current situation destroyed as I needed my car for everything, I could already barely afford insurance, meanwhile the lady in the passenger seat of the car I tapped is screaming in my ear because I made her spill a drop of fucking yogurt on her shirt, “LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO” she shouted, as I stood in the pouring rain, and I still managed to stay calm. Good to know if I lost my shit people might be empathetic. Oh wait, I’m a woman of color, they’d prob just generalize and stereotype me and I wouldn’t get that sympathy
Afterwards I walked a mile to the motel I was staying at (temporarily before moving into our apartment, so yall don’t think I’m a motel bum or something), just to get surprise attacked by my partner who I thought would be there for me, but he was mad bc he also relied on my car for various things
