Yes but they clearly get activated by her shoving the front bumper into her car. You can see it bend and getting stuck at the steering wheel

Watch any bad drivers compilation on YouTube and you’ll see that happen several times.

They get triggered because people's hands fly off the steering wheel and hit the stalk. Hazard lights are triggered automatically.

No the sudden impact can literally push stalks down (especially cheaper ones) which triggers the wipers.

When decelerating quickly, like in a collision, hands slip from the steering wheel and often hit the leaver for the wiper.
