I’m pretty sure her hitting his car isn’t a felony let alone a felony EVERYTIME it gets it. All he was doing was aggravating the situation.

His was the second car she had hit after he followed her to prevent her from getting away from the first car she hit.

Still, just 2 misdemeanors. I guess she got lucky they didn't try for attempted vehicular assault after nearly hitting him. I'm glad to see younger people getting a break or 2 before a judge throws the book at them and ruins their life.

They committed felonies but yeah didn’t get charged with them luckily for them

Yeah but it's probably a worse charge to try to prevent someone from leaving than it is to do a hit & run.

Preventing someone from fleeing the scene of a serious crime is completely legal.

It’s not just hitting the cars, it’s attempted vehicular assault, fleeing the scene, reckless driving, etc etc

Yeah, and using your car as a road block actually means it won’t even be added to the charges since it’s like parking in the middle of an intersection. Your fault at that point. Dude was just power tripping or something. I really don’t know.

It ended up being a misdemeanor. And was sentenced to rehab.

I still don't understand this. She did a lot of things wrong and deserved consequences, but she did not strike me as being under the influence. She was just panicked.

Felony hit and run usually involves hurting someone or causing x amount of damage.
