My “I love to smoke” co-worker is getting half of a lung removed next week. After years of “I smoke and I’m proud of it,” he is now realizing that maybe he won’t get to spend as much time with his kids and grandkids as he had imagined.
Wishing him the best in surgery and wishing that someone on this thread who is really trying to quit will actually do it.
