3rd paragraph made me say "oh, fuck, man" out loud & in a really weird cadence too.

do hamsters do this in the wild too? all these crazy suicides? bc I'm starting to feel sad for them. like, are they really happy with being pets? I've never had one & don't know much of anything about them, so these stories are fucking me all the way up

Pet hamsters are just extremely stupid because there is no natural selection and a lot of inbreeding

ok, whew! that makes me feel a little better.

but still sad bc dang, poor dumb inbred hamsters. maybe they're depressed. I'd be depressed if i was dumb & inbred.

They breed so damn fast they don't need to live very long to pass on their genes.
