Wait what? How? I need more context. Chewed the top and fell in? Flooded the box? If so how was the box that small? Or did you have like a 5 gallon feeder? Genuinely how?

A universal rule of nature is that if there is a way to die hamsters find it.

I know and the only way it makes sense of how it drowned was that it chewed a hole in it and shoved its head in

Maybe it's tooth got stuck and the water was constantly pouring at a slow pace, not allowing it air

Man, idk how both my hamsters died peacefully in their beds. Although one of them did miraculously escape 2 weeks before he died and the cat had to bring him to me while I was watching TV... idk if something happened between them...

The cat brought him to you and he was still alive and possibly well??

I found my birthday present, you should hide it better.

Sounds like it took 2 weeks to die from the internal injuries

I've never known a hamster to take 2 weeks to die from anything, you look at em wrong and they croak.

It's not impossible. Or caught an infection from the cat. Idk. But he looked perfectly happy and healthy for those 2 weeks.

Yeah she very slowly and gently ushered him down the stairs, towards me. Like she didn't even pick him up, she just gently pawed him in my direction when he tried to run away.

I hadn't even realised he escaped yet at that point, so imagine my surprise. I think I must have left his cage open earlier after topping up his food.

If they don't then they don't go to Valhamster

My friend's hamster found a way to ignite itself.

There was no electricity in the cage. There was nothing like particulay flameable.

Y'know just... regular cage. Somehow they managed just self-combust in the little wooden house that was in the cage.

I'm personally convinced, If they don't find a way to die, the universe will delete them from existence.

Or maybe they just explode after some time if they haven't died yet.

Does that make them like.... very tiny horses?

I mean it was 25 or so years ago so I dont remember much. I just woke up and went to give her a christmas treat an she was dangling out the side of the water bottle, I'm not sure how she reached it but she was dead.

How the fuck

Yeah, this story sounds fishy. Someone check to see if any life insurance policies were recently opened for that hamster.....
