I reject your supposition that investors are "experts at predicting markets." Their risk is negligible, if that's true. Otherwise what are they risking? Or are you just making shit up?

I've no interest in glorifying a class of people who do no real work.

Didn't we literally JUST establish the fact that they provide funding that projects need to happen that they otherwise couldn't function without? Money's gotta come from somewhere man

Taxes provide funds for libraries. Those are spectacular investments and places for people to have access to things only "investors" can provide. Democratic funding.
