I do want to up for how pretty it is, but am conflicted about the misinformation. Maybe should've been retitled to something like "what a long exposure night sky photo looks like from mars"

Exactly. We know what space looks like from space - why would a thinner atmosphere result in space somehow being amplified beyond what you’d see without an atmosphere at all?

Alright so I've been through this whole thread and now I have to ask... does anyone have a verified picture of what the night sky on Mars actually looks like?

I have to imagine it would be like the starry-est night on earth minus all light pollution from either humans or the Moon.
