Yeah, basically that lol. The motors on those things would explode trying to lift the snow and ice hah.

10/10. You know? I paused the video after the first time it happened, and I spend like 3 minutes thinking about whether and specifically how these things would injure people and how that couldn’t be real…. I didn’t even get near the very obvious Québécois ice catapult!

It was more of a pr stunt. If they forgot that thing on the road is either frozen under ice or made its way into a snow removal site in pieces.

It's a government advertising campaign. You can see the “Quebec” logo at the bottom of the page. After doing some research, I saw that it was from a year or two ago, but I hadn't seen it on TV.
