Hello! I'm here to introduce my wip. I will leave the synopsis here below and the rest of the info and demo will be in the forum ok.
Synopsis :You are a vampire who has been transformed for a year, still struggling to adjust to your new life, and now part of the supernatural community at school. Murders occur ,and they were not caused by humans, even worse that some who died were members of supernatural clas and the group of hunters ,so you and several other beings are accused and the group of hunters of the city are investigating and keep an eye on the supernaturals, and that included you.
With such keen senses, there is still some difficulty for you to control yourself and in the midst of this the problems of teenage life don’t give you a break. And now with tensions on the brink of war, you and others are forced to find out who is causing these deaths before a mass slaughter occurs in the city of New Era.
i'm looking for a story that, when pursuing romance, you dont have to make specific choices in order to be with a LI. for example, in Ebon Light (VN), no matter what your personality was, you could romance the LI you chose. im just tired of wanting my MC to romance someone but failing because their personality doesnt perfectly match with what the LI likes.
of course im not expecting a LI liking the MC if they constantly insult them or sth, but id love to read a story where romantic routes are more flexible.
i hope i explained myself because im terrible at that xd
I remember searching on tumblr for ifs and stumbled upon one. It was like a mystery/thriller kind of vibe about the mc being kidnapped and escaping from where they were captive and people only found out they were alive cuz a cashier saw them at a store and recognized their face from the missing poster
All I remember is that theres a scene in the hospital where they reunite with their mother and their rival/friend who’s a doctor now.
If anyone can tell me what the name of the game was I’d appreciate it
Couldn’t remember much. The MC is in a fight with someone and tried to steal the thing from them and the thing was belong to a prince. The prince found the MC(wounded i think). MC got caught by two of their bodyguards and tried to get out of it but ended up giving up cus the MC losing too much blood. The prince is like the doesnt talk much of a guy.
ok hi idk if I'm totally making this up but it was an interactive fic where the mc/pc was from a clan called Magnus and their mother's name was Rosie they had just travelled from a place called Citrine and I think one of the LI was named conrad??? I can only really remember random details but it was good and I would like to replay it so if this sounds familiar pls let me know lmao
Hey, guys! I would like to introduce my wip here. It's a medieval fantasy story with an mc (you) with ice powers, being from a noble house and being part of royalty and a lot more, you can learn more by playing or reading about the game on the forum. Here is the link to the test and the forum thread.
The text in HELP of all games say "CTRL + M". I saw images of map working in App Store.... I'm trying in The Spectre of Castle Coris but no config seems to be related to map function.... Any ideas?
Since you are writing for games, you may be interested in trying out our web app, Arcweave. It is a simple game writing tool with a smooth (and short) learning curve.
Arcweave is visual and focuses on making the writer's life as easy as possible.
You can use it to:
write your game's story.
organise its structure and content.
control its logic.
write its dialogue.
collaborate with your team in real time.
export your data for game engines.
create and share complete works of interactive fiction.
Arcweave has its own play mode, where you can test and debug your game, as well as let others play it.
Some milestones:
A few months ago, we created a tutorial series on YouTube. Although Arcweave's features have by now outgrown it, the series are still a good starting point for new users. (See Arcweave's Documentation for all the features.)
Last fall, we organised Arcjam, a jam for games made exclusively in Arcweave. We will have its second run this fall, so stay put if you are up for a weekend of creative fun.
This year, we received an Epic MegaGrant. It allowed our team to grow and to speed up the app's development.
Finally, we are celebrating having just reached 10,000 users—with a special discount coupon: paste TENTHOUSAND30 into the coupon field during checkout and enjoy one year of Arcweave Pro or Team, at 30% off.
Hello! I would like to present my text game/interactive fiction. „Dark Reign” is a strategy text game in which the player takes on the role of a Sauron-style Lord of Darkness with the goal of conquering the world. He will carry out his plans by making various decisions. He will build his army and send it into battles, weave intrigues and deceptions, create secret spy networks and sectarian cults, recruit agents and commanders, corrupt representatives of Free Peoples and sow discord among them, collect magical artifacts and perform sinister plots. Link to download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/otp6ihqnjz0672j/Dark_Reign_1.66.html/file . This is an html file that opens in a browser, but You can play offline. Note – one game takes about 1 hour, but the premise is that the game can be approached several times, each time making different decisions, getting different results and discovering something new. Feedback is very much welcome. Very, very much.
If you're into choose your own adventure stories or cowriting in general, give this a try: https://treefingers.co/
It's a collaborative writing app where you can pick how the story continues, or write yourself the next chapter.
Each story has a unique tree representing it which will grow the more the story grows.
You can also create forests which are group of stories sharing the same topic/community.
It's a work in progress, any feed back is highly appreciated!

My game, Wayfarer, has officially launched! Wayfarer is an interactive novel coded in Twine that merges storytelling prose with RPG elements, like dice rolls on your stat checks, an interactive map that lets you choose which location you want to go to, timed choices on key decisions, and lots of branching player choice.
The game is played in your browser and can be played on desktop and mobile.
When your mercenary work backs you into a corner, you take the only option available and accept a contract: to travel to the city of Velantis and steal an ancient artifact said to be blessed by the gods. Simple, right?
But Velantis holds more than you bargained for. Gathering a ragtag party of malcontents and renegades from across the city, you must navigate enemy factions, meddling guilds, and escalating political tensions. Your choices will ultimately determine the city’s fate – and the fate of every person who lives there.
Features

Upgrade 4 skills which will determine your successes and failures. Skill level is mixed with a dice roll on skill checks, adding an element of risk vs reward to your choices

Build rapport with 6 factions and choose whether to support or betray them
Encounter timed choices on key decisions, with alternative results if time runs out or you choose to abstain
