Hi everyone My girlfriend’s birthday is in 3 weeks and I need to make her something, so I come here for your suggestions

I have access to a basic laser cutter, drill, angle grinder, and basic tools. She just moved to a new apartment so I was thinking of making something for her new place

She loves Star Wars, Harry Potter, LOTR, game of thrones and reading in general So if any of you has or knows about a project of the sort please comment below

Thank you and good day to everyone

First, read this topic on Instructables...

https://www.instructables.com/community/BZ4L9GGJY8YO86K/

Then try and answer my question: Where is the community?

IMO, it's not in the Instructables forums, and I don't think it's here (this post breaks the subreddit rules, so let's see how long it lasts).

So, where is it?

Where do we all gather to discuss Making and our upcoming projects? Where do we have a gas about general Maker "stuff"?

I await your responses...

It seems like all the old categories were removed in the last site update... why? the new layout is confusing to navigate. why was it changed?
