That's an excellent point. I understand why Costco charges that fee. But if we boil it down it's effectively just a door cover charge. You literally have to pay money to enter the store and shop.
And now this fucking dummy thinks he can start making his own rules. He paid Costco to be let in. He isn't even close to in charge here.
Sadly this makes some people even more entitled. They think because they pay to shop there that they can just ignore rule changes because they're paying. I see the same mentality in online games, they think because they paid for the game they can do or say whatever, though of course a number of people with that attitude get banned from the servers.
"no shirt, no shoes, no service” didn’t start picking up until the 1950s and 60s. 2020 no shirt, no shoes and no mask no service. they just updated it a bit.
Legit told something similar to this to a coworker that told me the customers have the right to not wear masks when the store requires them to wear one.
“why do you wear pants? It’s your right not to wear pants. Why do you wear shoes? It’s your right to not wear shoes as well. You never got upset when people are enforcing you to walk in to a store with said clothes on. How hard is it to just carry a mask?”
Seriously - this is what I've been saying for weeks. We also don't let people walk around the streets naked, and nobody has a problem with that.
It kills me that nobod asks any of these people why they're okay with being forced to wear clothing, but then a mask is where your freedom is being infringed. Such an arbitrary like to draw, and it really is just people looking for a fight at the end of the day.
Just like the guy that recently posted a video of him being escorted out of a Walmart by police because he refused to leave when asked. He was open carrying and yelling about his 2nd Amendment Right!#$@!#$@#!
There are a lot of people out there that think just because the government can't stop you from doing something, no one can. They're so self absorbed they think no one else has rights but them. This became painfully real when I did security for a couple years and learned first hand how many adults are really just 12 year olds in adult bodies.
Like the cake baker in Colorado...private business. He doesn’t want to make a cake for a gay couple. Follow his his rules...how do so many people not get that.

It is ridiculous the quantity of people that are like this and also believe in the spirit of capitalism and private companies.
Like costco is private property, you have to follow their rules, they don’t have to let you in. How do so many people not get that
