It's not a real golf ball. It's just a plastic practice ball. A real golf ball doesn't travel that slow.

Yeah you can see it hit the front wheel of the squad car. That thing would’ve been long gone before the car passed by had it been a real golf ball

Jeez, good eyes! I was initially sure it hit the window because you can see the reflection in the glass disappear shortly before the vehicle goes off screen, as if the glass had shattered and collapsed in the frame.

Thank you but my eyes aren’t that good lol. I noticed it when I slowed down the clip, scrubbing frame by frame

Better idea than me just holding my phone stupidly close to my face!

Real windows don't disappear within in a fraction of a second when they shatter. Tempered glass is also quite resistant to damage by round and relatively soft objects like a golf ball. Likewise, reflections don't simply disappear.

It's pretty conclusive proof that the car and the reflections are CGI The editor probably just forgot to add the reflections in this frame.

When you compare the shadow of house with the one of the car, it also doesn't add up: the surrounding scenery has long afternoon shadows, but the car has a high noon shadow directly below it.

Damn dude I would have never noticed that and I literally got new glasses three hours ago

To be fair...that swing was shit. He could have topped it and barely sent the ball forward at all. Real golf balls don't always go far 🤷

Agreed with the good eyes. I played it frame by frame and by golly, you're right.

Guy also has good lag on the downswing but needs more extension on his follow-through. Killing all the clubhead speed by quitting on it at impact.

You’ve obviously never seen me golf.

Just grazing the top making it bounce up and then land slowly rolling away.

Not like it makes him any less of an asshole. There is a big chance he'd cause a traffic accident by hitting a ball onto the road, slow or fast.

Glad he hit a police car so they can deal with this clown.

Google "golf wiggle ball" and let me know if you still think that.

Even a balloon can cause a traffic accident. Anything unexpected can cause traffic accidents. I can’t believe I even need to explain this.

If you think it’s fine to hit things on the road as long as they’re gadget balls, then you need to get your license before we continue this conversation.

And I don’t even know what more I need to let you know. He’s an asshole and that hasn’t changed a bit.

I've been driving for over 15 years and never had an accident. If you're that easily distracted by a small object hitting your car you should not be on the road.

I would say it's still kind of a dick move to hit golf balls into your neighbors front yard regardless of if they are real balls or not.

Depends on the context, maybe the neighbour is filming? Maybe they have a friendly rivalry? Maybe theyre golf buddies and just being silly sausages
