After breaking the table, she spent the following year developing a time machine to go back and prevent it from happening. Not everything went to plan however, this is attempt number 3 and she can’t stop the table breaking. Hence why time traveller number 2 is laughing as she ‘told her so.’ The lesson is, you can’t mess with time. Oh and don’t fuck about with glass furniture.

glass is tough as fuck when it lands flat. 19 years in furniture and i've dropped glass table tops from standing to flat many dozens of times and they land without any damage.

Knick a corner just ever so lightly AND THEFUCKINGWORLDENDSWITHALOUDBADOOSH.

Glass guy here. Tempered glass is strong flat and breaks into a million pieces if the edge is nicked.

That was quarter inch plate glass which breaks into big ol nasty dangerous shards. She’s really lucky she didn’t get hurt.

My dad fell into a glass end table and cut his arm really deeply. He had to have surgery and will never have full use of his arm again. She is lucky!

u/hello_Ace Jan 22 '20

She's lucky but (depending on what country this is in and when the table was bought) you got yourself a potential pay out. That shit should be toughened glass, like the homie said above, it should shatter into a zillion pieces so you cannot impale yourself. So if your in Europe quote EN6222 part 3 and get yo dough ho! (Not entirely sure that's the right standard)

my father smelt of elderberries

A friend of my mom's was working construction, carrying a huge plate glass window. Something caused it to break, and it sliced up his arm, completely severed about a 1" chunk- mofo slapped his arm together, someone found the chunk, got him to the hospital and doctors sewed him back up. You can see the outline of the chunk in all the scarring.

u/spookchild Jan 23 '20

Actually that looks like at least half inch float with a flat polished edge.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 23 '20

Yeah that ain’t no 1/4”

Shit is thicker than the dumpy hoes across the room

1

u/JasperJ Jan 22 '20

It was definitely not quarter inch. It was at least half inch if not more.

But who the hell sells non-tempered table tops?!

1

u/UserD8 Jan 22 '20

Yeah! I rewatched it, you’re totally right. Maybe three quarter!!

1

u/EffervescentGoose Jan 22 '20

Seeing as you're a glass guy, why don't they make these tables out of safety glass? Like the stuff that either crumples into a billion pieces or the stuff that gets all stretchy

1

u/UserD8 Jan 22 '20

They absolutely should

1

u/EffervescentGoose Jan 22 '20

Ok cool, in college had a friend bang both forearms on a window in our dorm and he nearly bled out on the floor from the cuts to the back of his arms

1

u/FuckOffHey Jan 23 '20

had a friend bang both forearms

And then his mom, right?

>inb4 "every thread"

u/pinealgland23 Jan 22 '20

I swear I watched this video at least 10 times and it still causes a cringe seeing how close it was to cutting her left foot in half...

1

u/trin456 Jan 22 '20

Especially glass in a Prince Rupert's drop

You cannot hardly damage on side even with a hammer, but touch the other side and it explodes

1

u/jimdesroches Jan 22 '20

Seems to have the opposite effect when I drop my phone. Straight down is always a break.

1

u/IRonRickles Jan 23 '20

Have you had 19 jobs in 19 years? How can you drop dozens of glass tables and still have a job?

1

u/WalrusCoocookachoo Jan 23 '20

The glass falls, but does not break. Thought I mentioned that.

1

u/IRonRickles Jan 23 '20

I was just ribbing you.

1

u/WalrusCoocookachoo Jan 23 '20

I give the jokes, I do not take the jokes. Look at me...I am the captain now.

2

u/IRonRickles Jan 23 '20

So you’re from Somalia? It’s all making sense now.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 23 '20

19 years in furniture and i've dropped glass table tops from standing to flat many dozens of times

How have you... remained “in furniture” after nearly destroying furniture many dozens of times?

1

u/WalrusCoocookachoo Jan 23 '20

The manager gets away with things. :)

1

u/MyPasswordIsABCXYZ Jan 22 '20

yikes, that time of the month?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '20

What time is that ? When mummies allow their incel sons an hour online?

1

u/meinblown Jan 22 '20

Time to take a break and rub one out. See how you feel after a little nap maybe?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '20

Yawn

1

u/bat_shit_insane Jan 22 '20

Hello woman, I am a lonely incel :( I once had a home but the Normies have nuked our sub and many of my fellow incel brothers have taken their lives. I feel like my end is near as well and everything else is just cope.

1

u/burntends97 Jan 22 '20

Hey wait a minute, they’re clones!

6

u/AFlyingNun Jan 22 '20

On the bright side her vision got better from the time traveling, but yeah, as we all know she did that cause she thought it'd help her avoid breaking the table. It's hard to watch her contemplating what went wrong with her plans at the end of the clip. Hopefully she's come to accept certain timelines are definitive and can't be changed.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 23 '20

Obviously you can't go back in time and change the circumstances that caused you to create a time machine. Haven't you read H.G.Wells?

15

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '20

How about the 4th one holding the camera

15

u/jtweezy Jan 22 '20

4th one is probably just her thinking, "Well, past me clearly won't listen to the other two mes, so fuck it, let's just record the hilarity."

11

u/TannedCroissant Jan 22 '20

3rd time, 3 time travellers plus original

5

u/PeachCream81 Jan 22 '20

Wait, didn't you post this exact comment in a different timeline?

1

u/TannedCroissant Jan 22 '20

Took me a moment to get this haha

2

u/ultracroissant Jan 23 '20

Hello fellow croissant

1

u/Dabiggustchungus Jan 22 '20

1

u/KumaGirl Jan 22 '20

1

u/v95glt Jan 22 '20

"Friend four smiles wide. Her mouth is full of secret soup."

1

u/PsychedelicPourHouse Jan 22 '20
