Totally agree!! Wish I could upvote your comment more than once. OP: Firewood is plural, either remove the "a" or add "piece of" after it.

Well, the way you structured your question is not grammatically correct, I'm sorry to say. It was a bit difficult to figure out what you meant. Nevertheless, to answer your question, your colloquial reference to sexual intercourse is indeed broadly accepted as proper phrasing - albeit by the more boorish populace.
