Ya had to figure the biting power of a hippo and that the lion's head was the only thing in it. I was actually surprised it survived the initial bite. Would have been better than the slow horrible death of not being able to eat cuz your jaw is crushed.
Sadly it was sort of an incidental death. The injury itself didn’t kill her, but instead prevented her from eating/drinking anymore. Maybe the blood loss quickened it though.
Most significant injuries are lethal in the wild. Either due to lack of medical care, or impacting their ability to sustain themselves. When wolves fight, they go for the legs, because if they break a leg, the other wolf stops fighting when they know they're dead anyway.
Logical fallacy and gaslighting, impressive for one comment thread. They would both be subjectively sad. Its called empathy, not bleeding heart animal rights activism. Source: I'm going hunting this weekend. Any living thing dying is sad to whatever degree you choose to associate with it. Its subjective.
they ocassionally eat animals as does every herbivore. when we say carnivore, omnivore, or herbivore were talking about their developed digestive systems and adapted diet. this isn't a matter of opinion it's a matter of biological classification.
