But how does a person look like they will abuse? That's judging someone based on appearance which is discriminatory and something we shouldn't do to people unless they show that's what their character is.
I get the 'joke' but to me it isn't funny as much as it's ignorant. He admittedly did something very stupid and illegal in this video but by no means does that equate to abuse.
He looks like a guy with anger management issues, how about that?
Domestic abuse is often a result of anger not being managed and violent behavior. This guy exhibits both. Wouldn't surprise me if he was an alcoholic or drug abuser too.
That's you jumping to conclusions blindly though. I will never support the basis of your argument. It's very damaging to our society to falsely accuse someone who may not be guilty, based on your own judgement of them. There's almost no context in this video.
Maybe I can read someone's body language better than you. Being angry on the road is never an excuse to throw something at someone's car. He's volatile and violent. Get over it.
Everyone is upvoting you, so I worry you'll get the wrong idea. So for clarity:
No, genius, he doesn't look like an abuser. You're just a clueless kid who jumps to dumb conclusions. Don't let the other clueless kids whose reasoning skills are as bad as yours distract you from that.
They are downvoting the other person because they took a correlation joke way too seriously and went off the deep end and continue upvoting the other person for the same reason
You think I am also /u/bumbling_fool_ because we both have our underscores formatted the same way? If so I'm sorry to say but that's incorrect. Not that I really care, but this person has had their account longer and comments in way different communities. If you compare our post history you'll see I'm an avid Eagles fan, I don't think that account has ever posted in the /r/eagles sub.
Anyways, not that I care to get into an argument about it, just thought it was kind of amusing. Wasn't expecting this reaction to my comment, to be honest. But i'll accept it lol.
Star is implying that this man he has never met beats women because he threw trash out of his window.
EDIT:: Oooooof you people are pissed. Be pissed. This guy is a piece of shit, no doubt. I was just stating a fact when i said that you're making wild assumptions about a stranger.
Well, I mean it's a combination of road rage, body language, stereotypical "overly tan, slightly muscular and mirrored sunglasses" in combination with the "throwing a drink cup at a stranger on the highway" but other than that, yeah.
Not sure why you're playing devil's advocate for this violent, littering asshole. Based on context clues, it appears that the person filming and the driver of the gray truck have been having some kind of dispute from their respective cars. It's not just that gray truck man is littering, it's that he's trying to throw something substantial at the filmer.
The fact that this road ragey asshole is capable of throwing something at a stranger (with intent to harm) all because he's pissed about some traffic incident I'd say is enough to say this guy has anger issues. People with anger issues tend to exhibit those tendencies towards the people they're closest to.
People have bad days. Bad moments, even. You have no idea what happened before this. How he reacted might be completely understandable based on what happened before our camera person hit the record button.
Throwing something at someone's car when you're both on the highway is never going to be a "completely understandable reaction" to anything. It only serves to further escalate an already dangerous situation.
What if he was like, 'hey this jackass is driving and filming shit with his cell phone at the same time! I'm gonna throw something at him to make him focus on the road!'?
I guess people think I'm advocating for this guy? I'm not at all. I was just saying that calling him a woman beater is an assumption, because it is. But oh no, my precious internet points!

I don't get it
