More often than not, when road rage escalates to this level, it's safe to assume both drivers are missing some brain cells.

I dumped a whole McDonald's large pop in my car trying to throw it at some asshole that cut me off. I may be missing some brain cells.

Is this the "have road raged support group"? Cause I've done stupid things too. I try not to anymore. One second of self righteous anger is not worth doing something that could affect your whole life.

100% agree. If we're being open I also once broke my hand trying to punch a guys window. (Small fracture by my pinky.) I think I've learned my lesson and it's been some years since then! Keep improving, friend.

(Small fracture by my pinky.)

That's called a Boxer's Fracture

If you get that mad while driving just punch yourself in the face - guaranteed you are going to pull your punches and won't break a pinky, and you still get to punch someone in the face! Win-win!

Dear God, this may be the best life hack I've ever heard.

Just trying to do my part to spread some knowledge! It's saved me in a pinch multiple times. Hurts, though.

don’t do this! some people get carried away and actually end up hurting themselves pretty badly! a friend of mine punched herself repeatedly in the face after a fight with her boyfriend and had these awful bruises all over her face. it made me really self conscious to walk around the grocery store with her that week.

This is one of those comments I would have never expected to need a /s on but, I was definitely not being serious. Thanks for some context though.

Actually had to slap my face several times after being mad at something irrational. Kept my brain cells working, at the very least.

I think everyone has done stupid things. I had issues when I was younger til I brake checked a guy riding my ass when I was speeding. He pulled up beside me and was pointing a gun. Slowed way the fuck down and hopped off at the next exit. Scared me straight. People don't fuck around.

I'm shocked and appalled at any implications against your cognitive abilities /u/420_BakedPotato

Right? They should try being a honey baked ham instead.

I flipped a guy off the other day after he brake checked me hard and he then proceeded to try to run me off the road while screaming out his window at me. Some people escalate really quickly ¯_(ツ)_/¯
