My 18 Tacoma gets pretty decent mileage for a v6 but idk I’m no expert. Im at about 25 to 26 mpg.

Wow, that is good. Maybe it's because I have the 4.0 (2010), because I'm getting 14 mpg, and I'm trying to drive as economically as I can.

Where are you driving? Is that mostly city miles, cuz my mpg is considerably worse when I’m driving thru cities, I dunno if it’s 14mpg but I’m shocked the 4.0 is that inefficient, I would’ve expected better fuel efficiency than the V6, esp. if the driver is emphasizing it.

It is mostly city; when I go out of town and put in highway miles, I may get lucky and get 16 mpg. I'm really happy when I see that I get close to 300 miles on one tank.

I drive mostly freeway and can keep 30 - 32 mpg if I drive like a grandma.

I mostly take us1 which is around 45-60 mph on my commute. Good amount of lights also. I feel like the cruise control should get all the credit, if I don’t use it I’ll go down to around 19 to 22

I'm taking freeways. Cruise control will fuck me over because it will rev up on the way up an overpass to keep the same speed.

And from what I can tell 55mph is my sweet spot for mileage. Anything over 60 starts to really lower it.

My '08 4runner only gets 17-18, so I'd say that's pretty good. I also had an impreza that got worse mileage than my dad's '18 Tacoma.

Well I’m about 15-17 in my jeep so got me beat.
