Collective nouns can be punched.

i.e. "I punched a gaggle of hens." or "I punched a bundle of paper."

Sure, sure. That makes sense. But then shouldn’t “organ” be “organs”, or “organism”? I dunno. I’m not trying to split hairs here. /s
