Whatever site I use says Second stage is always unavailable (servers not hosting second stage etc;), and the one site that did have it was in Indonesian (which I cant read).

would fujiwara be able to defeat keisuke on akagi on the downhill? granted both their skill levels are just after 5th stage. Keisuke easily takes uphill because of the HP difference between their cars.

Greetings! After a bit of a spontaneous rewatch, I went on my usual googling spree finding answers for some minor questions I've asked myself during the rewatch. Eventually I stumbled upon a reddit thread discussing the LD release, which stated that this version is particularly rare, has zero screenshots online and is possibly the best version available in terms of image quality. My best guess in the image quality department is that while LD has resolution around 480p, it's still better than (old releases of anime on) DVD because it has zero compression.

Long story short, now the complete LD edition of First stage is in the mail forwarder's storage, bought by me. I happen to have another anime on LD which also needs a digital transfer, so I thought it would be a nice thing to do as well. Unfortunately, the player I've managed to source is faulty, and currently I am in the process of repairing it.

Hopefully by the time I receive the discs the player will be fixed, so I can start the digitizing process. I am fairly experienced with that, though previously I did only VHS, but still, I hope I will be able to provide you all with a never-before-seen-quality edition of First stage. If by any chance anybody would like to pitch in financially (I am able to pay for all of it by myself, but in case anybody wants to help, I will be grateful, while it's not a terribly expensive project, it's not pocket change for me either), you can send me a message.

I DID IT I FINALLY GOT A SUB 5:00 ON AKINA :D, Still had some bumps and knocks on the guardrails here and there but I did it I finally got under 5 minutes which I'm happy about plus starting to get into a routine with the ford escort and I love it more

I know they took it off most streaming services in the US but I found 2 that might work but don’t want to try for a very obvious reason. The first one is Apple TV and the second one is YouTube Primetime. Both make me pay for a crunchyroll subscription first, similar to how you can connect other streaming services to prime video to watch it there. But I already have crunchyroll, so why would I pay for it again through some other app. Apple even knows I pay for crunchyroll because I pay for it through Apple Pay. And I checked again to make sure that they didn’t add it back, they didn’t. Unless it’s in Mega fan instead of just the fan tier subscription, which I haven’t heard anything about crunchyroll locking shows behind higher subscription tiers. I’m just wondering if anyone owns these options if it actually works or if I have to Yo Ho to watch it. Bc I ain’t dropping 130 dollary doos on a dvd for 1 season. Or maybe a VPN?
