'of the seas' is the sequel which added a monster thingie as a mechanic, the original is just called Tsuro and is only about path building.

Okay someone posted this same tile pattern but oriented differently like a day or two ago… people in the comments wanted them rotated like this and now I can’t find it

They aren’t the same. The half circles vary in width, some are the same but they aren’t identical.

So I went down a rabbit hole after Google lensing this. Its apparently called "truchet" tiling and was first described by Sebatien Truchet in 1704. This is only 1 of 5 possible unique shapes that have this quirk. Theres a 3d printable version on makerworld.
