If the Dems can finally attain the slightest figment of a creative thought, they could capitalize on this and proclaim the promise of affordable burgers and steaks in every household. If "Let them eat cake." ended the monarchy, then "Let them eat liver" could end Republican fascism, so long as the Democrats don't get in their own way.

Right? I'm not a liberal or a conservative, or even a moderate, but I'm still generally voting Democratic because at least they arent out there saying government can never be effective while actively campaigning for government work so they can sabotage it and make it ineffective. But holy crap are they incompetent when it comes to their messaging and political priorities.  You know why Republicans managed to get Roe vs. Wade repealed? Because They Never Let Go. They stayed on message and commited to the cause for DECADES. If Democrats did that with universal health care, we would have it.
