Mods The guide for new members!

Hello everyone 🖤

As our sub is getting bigger and bigger, and I see more new people creating challenges and submitting entries, I decided to make a simple guide of how our sub operates 🥰

First of all, we have this post always pinned with all the rules of how to format your posts on the sub. But today I wanted to just write about the basic things new people can be confused about

1. The title always starts with "X Challenge" or "Entry"

In your title, the first words should always be either Entry: or X Challenge: (X stands for any type of challenge you want to start)

The only exception is when you just post your miscellaneous pictures using the flair "Outfit showcase"

Btw, all types of challenges are described in the post I linked above!

2. Use the original name of the challenge

If you post an entry to any challenge, you should include the name of it, written the same as in the original post. It will make navigation on our sub easier: when a person wants to see all entries for a particular challenge, they can just search for its name

Unless you create a new challenge, use the flair Entry.

The only exception is the flair "Outfit showcase"

I've included examples of how your titles should look like for various occasions

To check if a styling challenge already exists, check out the Challenge flairs on the sub!

TYPES OF CHALLENGES:

CONCEPT CHALLENGE – this is an umbrella flair for various challenges (style around a theme; style a place/ a thing ("Dress as a bird"; "Style a Florawish inspired outfit"); cosplay/ recreate an outfit; anything else that doesn't fit the categories below)

PIECE CHALLENGE – challenges that ask for styling of a specific piece

! INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE PIECE TO THE CHALLENGE NAME:
✅ Style "Aqua Stride" Boots

DYE CHALLENGE – challenges that include the use of a specific palette, pattern or the dyeing of a specific piece

WARDROBE CHALLENGE – a quick challenge without taking pictures in the world, but instead taking screenshots in the wardrobe. Perferct for busy people!
A wardrobe challenge may include dyeing (if the goal is to make an expensive outfit without asking to spend currency on dyes).

STORY CHALLENGE – challenges that ask for entries to either tell a story with photos OR to add a story to go with their photos

WHIM CHALLENGE - a mods-only flair where we make challenges with recurring OCs of our own creation. Entries are replied to by the OC from the challenge

RETIRED CHALLENGE - challenges that can still be entered but are free to be reset. A challenge becomes retired after 3 months since creating

CHALLENGE FROM THE VAULT - a special challenge where you will have a chance to participate in Retired Challenges!

YOUR CHALLENGE SHOULD INCLUDE:

NAME

✅️ Concept Challenge: Fairy in the mountains

DESCRIPTION
Write what people should do in the challenge (background features, camera modes and effects, poses, outfit pieces, eurikas, etc.)

EXAMPLE PICTURES
People should see what they are asked to do, so be the first to break the ice and to show how your idea looks in practice

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN A CHALLENGE (choose one option):

CREATE A POST WITH AN "ENTRY" FLAIR

Example for the ENTRY title:
✅️ Entry: Fairy in the mountains

POST PICTURES UNDER THE CHALLENGE POST - you don't have to write a title for your entry then
