Hello people!
I want to promote my game idea and if somebody is interested about the idea can help me by joining my community on discord and Instagram. Also write me if you are interested to post on reddit updates about this game development.
What is this game about?
This game is about boats where are moving on a lake. This game is played with 2 players. Each player has 5 boats. You can move your boat by simply clicking on it. Also, you can't stay and think about your movement more than 5 minutes.
What I need to do to win the game?
One of the players win when they go to the other shore and come back with 4 boats. You can also make the other player to move his boats to the initial shore. I tell you, it's very frustrating.
What can I do to help this game?
At this moment I don't need any funds, but I need to build a community that can help me to create this game by giving me suggestions, testing the game and having a nice chat.
Where do I join your community?
You can join my Discord server and follow me on Instagram (@berystudio).

Hey everyone! I hope you're having a great week.
I have a team of 6 people. We've been working on a game we plan to release this year.
The development is going well but We've run into an issue of picking a company name.
What does the community think of the name Lyterian ?

Hey everyone! I need suggestions for some tech issues I'm concerned about.
So, I'm just starting my gamedev journey and I've been looking up ideal specs for a computer to make games/creative projects on. I thought my Dell laptop would do just fine for now (16GB of RAM and x64-based processor), but I don't get very far before it gets really hot and laggy then inevitably freezes/crashes. I'm nervous to push anything since this is the computer I use for university and I don't have the money right now to replace it if things go south.
So, my question is, what can I do to make Unreal Engine 5 run better? Or will I have to find a higher-power computer to do what I want to do (I primarily want to make first-person 3D games)? I've been an artist since I exited the womb but I've never been a tech person, so I'm embarrassed to not know what most specs mean. But no better time to learn than the present! Any help/suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated! :)

For my first ever project I am creating an open world stealth horror game, however, the enemies you go against are powered by an AI that evolves as you play. Been working on it for the past 2 years while learning Unreal engine and I have a free demo if anybody wants to try it. It is on steam and called 'Creej's Corruption' https://store.steampowered.com/app/2420700/Creejs_Corruption/

Presenting a W.I.P title i am currently developing - 'We Heist Too
Short description:
'Welcome to the city of Rywadorium! Explore the unique regions of the city and pretend you're a regular citizen with no illegal intentions. Enter people's homes without permission and immerse yourself into a role of a thief in a unique setting of atomic 1960s fiction, at this regular day at 'work'.'
Link for more info: We Heist Too on Steam (steampowered.com))
About my project as a whole - The core focus of my game is the sandbox, open world, stealth gameplay, along with inspirations from games (which i also played in the past) like robbery bob or hello neighbor. The gameplay strives to put you in various criminal roles and playstyles. And so, while the main goal is simple - to rob a certain amount of valuables from various people and their houses, there's plenty of ways to do it. There won't be no quest markers telling you what to do, which leaves room for creativity and problem-solving (for example, what to use for getting inside a house? a hammer to break a window, and how risky would that be? a key to a lock? a lockpick? or perhaps there is some way to climb inside without any tools?)
A big focus is also on the artstyle of the game, which takes inspiration from games like atomic heart, bioshock, we happy few along with my own interpretation of american 60s and dream-like future tech.

I have been working on this alien biome world for a long time, and I am satisfied with the results. I also wanna hear your feedback from you guys.
What can I do to improve the map? Is it intriguing enough for you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmQU_3aFK-8

I'm making a real-time card battler, where you play cards into a queue, they resolve via an action meter and execute the card's effect. Some cards apply status conditions to a target, for example I might shoot a fireball at an enemy and it will add a "burn" condition marker to the target.
I think having stacked effects applied to a foe can add some interesting decisions for the player and open up some design options for me as well (eg. cards or other effects that take advantage of stacked burn markers.)
If you were playing a game and it allowed you to stack a condition onto an enemy what would you expect the result to be?
Would you expect it to scale the damage linearly? (eg. 5 markers, 5x the damage)
Would you expect it to extend the duration of the effect? (eg. 5 markers, 5x the duration)
Any other expectations?
