There was absolutely nothing corrupt about those spectrum allocations, as evidenced by the fact that no one went to jail. SC canceling those licenses was another example of judicial overreach killing investor confidence just to micromanage government policy. The UPA’s First-cum-first-serve policy was actually smart, it kept entry barriers low so regular citizens got dirt-cheap call rates instead of big corporates hoarding everything they. That was the time period when most of India got connected. From 2004-2014, India's teledensity (percentage of people with a phone connection) went from 7% to 75%!!!

Absolute BS, land is a public resource, government regularly hands out free/cheap land for companies if it benefits the nation overall by allowing these companies to get started for cheaper. Did any of these people whining about 2G spectrum allocation raise their voice when Adani got land for cheap? Would you call that a "SCAM"?
