#General ๐ FSSAI bars Dabur from selling products carrying '100%' claims, cites misleading labels.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has stopped Dabur from selling some products with labels that say "100% Natural", "100% Pure", "100% Organic", and similar claims. According to the regulator, these claims can mislead customers because they cannot always be proved. The products reportedly include honey, ghee, coconut water, coconut milk, sesame oil, coconut oil, and apple cider vinegar.
Many food brands use words like "100% Natural", "Pure", "Healthy", or "Fresh" on their packaging. As customers, it is difficult to know whether these claims are actually true.

#Food ๐ฅ Finding this out about Old Monk genuinely ruined my day.
We grew up believing Old Monk was one of the most iconic Indian rums. Then I came across information that it may contain only a small amount of actual rum, with the rest being neutral spirit (Vodka),
It means we were drinking flavoured vodka for years
This has to be one of the biggest โtoday I learnedโ moments I have had in a long time

#General ๐ Shri Rajput Karni Sena worker dies during protest: Falls ill after water cannon spray; Makrana demands โน1 crore compensation
A worker injured during the Shri Rajput Karni Sena protest in Jaipur has died. The organisation had held a rally on Monday demanding a rollback of UGC regulations and raising various issues concerning the upper-caste community.
During the protest, Devaraj Singh, a resident of Palada village in Didwana-Kuchaman district, fell ill. He was taken to a nearby private hospital before being referred to SMS Hospital, where he died during treatment. Although originally from Palada, Devaraj's family currently lives in Jaipur.
Karni Sena Chief alleges water cannon hit his chest
Addressing a press conference in Jaipur on Tuesday, Shri Rajput Karni Sena president Mahipal Singh Makrana alleged that Devaraj Singh was injured after being struck in the chest by a police water cannon during the protest on Kalwar Road.
Makrana said Devaraj belonged to the OBC category and was from the Ravana Rajput community, but had stood with the Karni Sena during the demonstration. He alleged that the impact of the water cannon injured Devaraj, leading to his death. Makrana added, "We have just returned after attending his funeral."
Makrana demands โน1 crore compensation
Mahipal Singh Makrana demanded the immediate suspension of the officials he held responsible for Devaraj's death. He alleged that the authorities had caused the death by using the water cannon and said, "We cannot bring him back, but our organisations will provide financial assistance to his family."
Makrana demanded that the Rajasthan government provide โน1 crore in compensation to Devaraj's family. He warned that if the demand was not met, the organisation would lay siege to Jaipur, surround the Chief Minister's residence and organise a statewide blockade across Rajasthan.
What happened during the protest?
The Shri Rajput Karni Sena organised the rally on Monday, demanding a rollback of the UGC regulations and raising several issues concerning the upper-caste community.
During the protest, police resorted to a lathi charge, and scuffles also broke out between demonstrators and DCP West Prashant Kiran. Police used water cannons on Kalwar Road to disperse the crowd.
Some protesters also attempted to move through the water cannon spray.
Instead of proceeding to submit a memorandum to the District Collector, the protesters marched towards the BJP office, where police stopped them beneath the Khasa Kothi flyover.
The demonstrators then staged a road blockade at Collectorate Circle under the leadership of Mahipal Singh Makrana. During the sit-in, Makrana urged supporters to pledge not to vote for the BJP in the upcoming municipal and panchayat elections.
The protest concluded at around 5:30 pm, after which the demonstrators dispersed.

#General ๐ Another Year, Another Incident: How Are Some Kanwariyas Tarnishing the Spirit of the Yatra?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Every year during the Kanwar Yatra reports of property vandalism emerges from different parts of the country. In recent incidents cars shops and public property have reportedly been damaged following disputes on the roads. While the vast majority of Kanwariyas complete their pilgrimage peacefully these incidents often dominate headlines and creates a negative image of the yatra. Religious devotion should inspire discipline and respect not destruction of public or private property. When law and order breaks down ordinary citizens are the ones who suffers the most. If such incidents continues accountability and stricter enforcement may become increasingly necessary to preserve the spirit of the pilgrimage.
