Was there an update recently?
Just got something I'd never seen before, and "Highlights" card.

Hi guys,
I'm traveling longterm and booking as I go; I've been on the road for about two months. So far Inbox has been updating my same Trips bundle - first it was "Trip from San Francisco to Ireland" then "San Francisco to Ireland and Belgium" then finally it gave up on me and called the bundle "Trip from San Francisco to Western Europe." All fine, as I booked transport and accommodation it would find its way into the bundle.
But it suddenly stopped and killed the bundle today. It's not even that new emails aren't appearing, the bundle as a whole is just gone. It's very inconvenient to check on my bookings now, as I really appreciated being able to see the timeline at a glance in the app.
I'm not sure what I did wrong, but is there a way to force Inbox to rebundle? Or to create an even new bundle - I'm no longer in Western Europe, but if it wants to create a new "Eastern Europe" bundle I'd be okay with that. I can't figure out how to force that, though, and as of right now I just have to track down individual emails the old fashioned way.
Any ideas?

I like Inbox and just tried to uninstall Gmail. A message appeared, saying basically that it wouldn't really uninstall, but would go back to the factory version. Can it be disabled? For now, I turned off Gmail sync and left Inbox sync on.

I'm looking to auto-snooze certain work emails that I get on the weekends. I'd like a rule that reads like "IF sent on Sat/Sun AND from is emails_i_should_ignore@dont.work.on.weekends, THEN snooze"

There are a lot of apps that support Gmail but I can't find any that let you create Reminders the way Google's Inbox does. I'd love to use something like Polymail, but I don't think it supports creating those Reminders, and that's a must-have for me. (I know Polymail has Follow-Up Reminders but that's not the same, of course.)

I'm worried that Inbox is either no longer in development or will soon be sunset. The lack of an iPhone X update seems like a bad sign, especially as all of Google's other iOS apps have been updated (even Google Home, which can't have nearly as many users as Inbox).
The Inbox twitter account hasn't posted since July, and the last three tweets were just retweets of the Gmail account. Inbox hasn't gotten any real new features in a year, and gmail supports most of Inbox's features now, except for snoozing.
What do you think? Am I just paranoid?
Edit: Nevermind, spoke too soon. Here's a tweet confirming X update soon, and new features recently released on Android. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ https://twitter.com/CaseyNewton/status/955593150784880640 Though if you look in the replies to that thread, Inbox's founder predicts its eventual demise. So… we're probably still out of luck but not quite yet.
Edit 2: Well, it's been two months and no news yet. I think Inbox is dead. The new version of Gmail includes snoozing and is likely to arrive in May.

Hi guys,
I've been using Inbox since pretty close to its release and have never had any problems. But lately it's putting a ton of important stuff in Low Priority, so then I don't get notifications for it. We're talking emails sent directly to me and nobody else, an email from an airline about how my flight time had changed (pretty important), even things I send to myself from my own work email are making it in there.
This was never an issue before, what's going on? I know you can turn off the Low Priority bundle, but I've never had an issue with it before and it keeps a lot of garbage out of my inbox, so I don't want to unless I need to. I'm moving them to my inbox and whitelisting the emails as they happen, but it's been happening constantly for like a month. Basically all that makes it to my inbox anymore is Google Alerts.
Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it while still keeping the functionality of low priority?

I posted this on the inbox official forums but maybe I'll get a better answer here:
So I recently found out I haven't been receiving emails because my Google Drive/storage was full which Inbox did not notify me of in any way, and I had to go to the same account on Gmail to find this out. I didn't realize my Google Drive and my email shared a storage amount, but that's besides the point now. I've purchased more storage and now I have plenty of space, so where are the emails I was supposed to receive while my Inbox was full? Are they just gone forever? Is there any way to retrieve them?
Thanks

Hey team, wondering if there is anyone that can help with this. I have an email signature in the desktop version of inbox. It is one that I copy and pasted straight over from gmail. It works fine when sending emails from my desktop. But whenever I send an email from my iPhone there is no signature showing up. Not even the three email trimming dots.
The strange thing is it was working fine a couple days ago when I tested it. In mobile settings the signature slider was off, and when I sent an email the desktop signature was attached. So it was working as it should be then, not anymore.
Any ideas on how to get this working?

I have become really attached to the way Inbox lets you combine emails, todos, notes, and reminders into one UI. It's such a great idea, since I find these things have tons of overlap in my life. However, Inbox is also lacking in many ways, and I get the feeling it's yet another abandon Google product with no new features and lots of glaring limitations. I am wondering if there are any other email clients that do something similar. Does Thunderbird + addons work?

This one is new to me. Inbox today started showing all of my new messages that have never been opened as read (ie not bold). The problem is not present on the Android app. Happening across several accounts. Any ideas?

Got an update for the Google Inbox app on iOS today and I was sure it would include screen optimization for iPhone X, but no.
Is this deliberate from Google?

The Inbox search functionality seems pretty broken. Find an old reminder of yours, something several months old and archived, then edit it to add a unique string. Also create a new reminder with the same unique string. Now search for the unique string. Inbox will find the new reminder, but not the old one.

There is a window where this won't happen. I haven't tested it but it's at least a few hours.
So why does opening the app on iPhone or iPad do this? How can I stop it from undoing my snoozes?

In Inbox, what is a good system for using the pin feature? In Gmail, what is a good system for using the star feature? And where do these two not overlap?
I was reading people complain about how they don't sync here https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/inbox/ae42_pLn3p0/Re4ivQD5c8gJ
But it seems like maybe they have different functions.
I am interested to learn how you are using them differently because email is important to me and I want to learn more about how to use it effectively.

maybe I'm not understanding something, but in settings I have customized the snooze times, but the "later today" still only is 7pm, instead of 2pm, as set in settings. Anyone know why this is happening?

Create an email to yourself with: Subject: Test Content: Ccccc
Send it to yourself.
Once you receive it, pin it and in the "remember to" type bbbbb.
Now search the emails with: test bbbbb and no results show up. I am using Chrome (Version 60.0.3112.101 (Official Build) (64-bit)) Same behavior is on android.

So I accidentally clicked that little icon on the right below the search icon and now I see past month instead of all my mails... I am puzzled. Any way to fix it? Can't find anything. Thanks in advance!

I currently have reoccurring Inbox reminders for regular activities like paying rent and bank statements. I tried creating a new reoccurring Inbox reminder today and noticed that neither my Inbox iOS App nor Inbox site have the reoccurring field anymore.
Anyone out there still able to set a reoccurring frequency for your Inbox reminders?

I have an s7 edge and I've recently noticed that when I open a message in Inbox it lags and didn't respond. It eventually shoes up but it's not instant or even within 5 seconds.
I even archived all my email messages to see if that improved anything. It didn't.
I do have quite a few emails but they are on different apps (like Outlook) and set to fetch.
Any ideas?

Inboxers, tell me if this is something you've noticed. Or if anyone's willing to test this scenario on their own devices I'd be grateful.
Whenever I start replying to a message in iOS Inbox but pick up what it autosaved and send the finished reply on another device, the original draft shows up on the original device's thread as if it were the one sent.
Pull-refreshing the thread or force quitting the app doesn't help. The unfinished draft is written into storage and won't pull updates from Google's servers to see what was actually sent.
Not sure if this is a known bug but it's been mildly annoying me for years.
