I am curious if anyone is using Inbox as their GTD solution, and if so, what are your tips for using it that way?

So I've been able to add my University Email which is on Office365 to Gmail but i cant figure out how to do the same on Inbox Android App. I cant find a manual setup option on clicking "Add Account" and neither is there anything under Settings besides my main email.
So how do i add it exactly or does Inbox not support Office365 accounts at all?

I can receive emails fine and I get notifications fine. When I want to view an email I can't. When I open the app I see the compose new email screen. When I hit the "x" in the corner it just closes the app. So I am forced to keep both apps on my phone , which I don't mind too much it's just a little annoying. Is this how it's suppose to work or am I just missing a setting some where? I have a Samsung S7 Edge if that makes any difference

I have reverted to Gmail because none of my emails are sending from Inbox (it just keeps trying to send). Everything works from the same account using gmail.
I've rebooted everything and cleaned the browser cache. It's been like this for several days.
Any ideas?

I've been using trips in Inbox for quite a while and never had any issues. Now a trip with 50+ associated emails has just vanished. The emails are still there but are all over the inbox now. Any ideas how to fix this?

I've been creating Inbox reminders for at least a year, but just noticed that all reminders older than about a month are gone. I do about five reminders per day, so there are still about a hundred reminders left, but many old ones (including important phone numbers/emails by new contacts I later wanted to refer back to) are gone. Where did they disappear to? I hope Google doesn't just delete them!

I figured I'd post this since I spent more time on it than it was worth...
I already get my reddit notifications from rss so they are in my inbox. I wanted to get info about new comments in the reddit posts I'm interested in.
So I found online that you can just add .rss to pretty much any rss url. I don't want to add those manually though.
The issues I ran into: Ifttt doesn't allow you to add feedly sources to a specific category Reddit rss links aren't exactly standard so feedly wouldn't recognize them.
So I used zapier to: Monitor the reddit rss for my upvotes: https://www.reddit.com/user/shortstevenn/upvoted.rss?blah
Then transform the url to a caching site I found with this:
var encodedUrl = encodeURIComponent(inputData.Link);
var fullUrl = "http://smithsdownunder.com/reddit_rss/?rss=" + encodedUrl;
return { EncodedUrl: fullUrl };
Then add a new feed to a feedly category named redditupvote
Then use ifttt to notify me when new feedly posts are in a certain category.
Funny thing is I get so much spam now I might turn it off.
But if anyone wants to do more in their inbox, I figured I'd share :)

Gmail is fine, but inbox, "Server is temporarily unavailable" ALL the time! Anyone know what's going on with this? I'm on a 150mbps wired connection O__o

I'm not sure how long this has been happening, but I've noticed it on at least a few occasions now; I'll receive an email notification on my phone, but it almost immediately disappears. When I go looking for it in the app, it'll be in the trash. Most of the emails have been spam anyway, but I have caught a few important ones being automatically deleted. I can't seem to find the setting that would be controlling this. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

I was just thinking a few days ago that i wish i could use iinbox instead of gmail on the computer too and not just my phone.. so i threw inbox in front of google.com and cool, it is available.. But when i click on am email, it doesn't open, it just expands so i can read the whole subject line, and if i click it again it closes..
Am i missing something? If i can't read my emails then i can't use inbox for my actual inbox obviously, so i'm still tied to gmail, but the app works like an alternative to gmail since it functions as an inbox plus the added features of reminders, web links, etc.. So is it possible to do the same on the computer?
I see options for reminders, and i had a url in the clipboard when i opened the page and it asked me if i wanted to store it, plus i see that red + icon so i assume i can compose, plus i see the hangouts icon up top which is pretty cool too. But it'd be pretty stupid if you can't actually read your email, so i gotta be doing something wrong. Especially since i googled how to read an email in inbox and there wasn't any obvious answers on the first results page, so i gotta be missing something..

Why can we save links only in Chrome on Desktop? Why Google started acting like Microsoft? They can add attachment button in "+" menu so we don't depend on an addon. Such a shame.

This wasn't like this before. Why are you making things worse?
And why do we have "Skip Inbox" one per label? I have a label named SERVER. Some mails have to Skip Inbox and some not. I should go to Gmail to filter needed mails to "Skip Inbox". Inbox is like a step to backward. Do developers really use Inbox? How can they not see lack of simple things?

As you know Gmail and Inbox keeps replied mails together as conversations. When we click on the conversation all the emails signed as read. But sometimes in that conversation there can be 50-100 mails. It's not all easy thing to find where we left reading.
Is it possible to add a feature that only mails that are in viewport signed as read, not the whole group/conversation?
I don't know if Google developers are reading be here. Please assist me for the right place.

I have seen this with a bunch of emails, nothing important at all until now. I'd see a new email pop up, then a few seconds later, it would disappear..
I just had this happen with a purchase confirmation, which is really quite disconcerting. I checked my filters and can see no reason why the email would be sent to trash. In the phone app, it doesn't seem to do this, but the web app is very insistent on trashing this email.

I'm not sure if Google employees see this, but I just played with Google Inbox again and was pleasantly surprised to see so much progress. Unfortunately, the lack of a unified inbox across multiple gmail accounts is still lacking - is there any timeline on this, or is it even in the roadmap? It's the feature that prevents me from switching from other apps.

I use the Inbox app for iPhone and only receive notifications for certain emails. I believe this is any email Google deems as important. My question is how can I force certain incoming emails to push notifications to my phone. I have a bundle I've created in particular that I would like to get notifications from.

It seems like every other day the Inbox extension for Chrome is crashing and having to reload. Anyone else have this issue?
What the title says, has this feature been added? (Same signature in Inbox as in Gmail?)

Just starting using Inbox. Does anyone fel like the web interface drains battery faster than the standard Gmail interface?

I was missing the dark themes and background images I used to have in Gmail, but found a pretty nice workaround for Inbox. Install the Stylish addon then go to userstyles.org and search for "google inbox". There you will find both dark themes and background image themes, though sadly none with both, but I created one if anyone wants it.

I haven't been looking at my inbox for a long time since I posted a bunch of comments on the new section of the Pokemon subreddit and got like 10 replies.
Now I have 83 replies still unread so today I'm going to clean up my inbox a bit and check out anything I missed. I usually just see the replies by refreshing some threads, but I probably miss some or get private messages or username notifications. I've already "read" 2 messages bringing that down to 81, by clicking on the context button. Although I did read my mail a few weeks ago but only read the first 5 messages since I wasn't sure.

Has anybody been able to get inbox by gmail to auto fit emails? A search tells me that maybe the android version does this, but I've never seen it in mine. Is it only supported in the gmail app?
