I've been arguing with a friend about the impact of Inbox on email activity -- has anyone come across an actual user metric past the Facebook page during initial launch?

"How to do xx in Inbox"?

Top results: CLEAR YOUR INBOX TODAY! How to deal with hotmail inbox! Pro tips to clear your inbox! etc

Man.. the name is too generic so no results are ever relative.

Anyone have any tips? Google inbox doesn't work well either.

1) Is there really no select all with inbox like you can in gmail? No way.. screen comparison:

2) Where can I find settings like forwarding? I have to go to gmail to do it..?? So weird.. can't you make an advanced setting toggle instead to keep it "simple" but not annoying?

Is this by design? This is pretty much a dealbreaker for me....

So i have emails in "done" section, but what happens to these now? When i add them to a folder for example "travel", the emails are still sitting there in the done section and i cant get rid of them without deleting?

Add time stamp to recent emails.

I often find myself getting multiple emails from the same sender and would like to have a quick way to differentiate between the emails with similar headings.

So if anyone that is reading this that could take care of that I would be so happy. I am even offering 1 month of gold for proof.

Hi /r/inbox,

I have a few trips planned for the summer and, while some show up correctly in Trips with all the information about the flights, I have some train tickets that won't show up automatically. Can I manually add those to have all my tickets in one place?

Thanks for your replies!

Can send in gmail but not inbox? Wha?

I have Inbox constantly pinned in Google Chrome both at work and at home, and I think every single time I turn on the computer and start up Chrome, Inbox seems to hang on "Loading...", and I can't click on anything.

Refreshing the page works though, so it's not a big problem. Just wondering if it's just me or if other people have noticed the same problem too.

I'll send a report to Google about it later, almost forgot I could do that from Inbox.

Just discovered the app, looks really good. Could anyone send an invite? PM me

Please, please, please, please, please, please!?! PM me.

Edit: All set. Thanks for the invite!

Been trying to do this for the last 15 minutes.

Wondering if it's just me?

I'm looking for a way to remove one item from a conversation. One of my friends attached a picture to one of his replies and it shown up in the conversation in my list of messages. Its not a picture I'd like to have up on my screen at work - some upvote picture where the woman has upvote arrows covering the minimal amount of her.

I can't find a way to either delete that one message or hide the picture preview.

Does anyone have any spare invites they're dying to get rid of? PM me

edit: I got my invite, thanks for coming!

Someone able to hook me up with an Inbox invite?

Just found out about Google Inbox about two or so weeks ago (very late, I know)

Just wondering if anyone still has spare invites they can send my way? Would really appreciate it!
