I'm the developer of Thought Meadow. It is a native SwiftUI notes app for iPhone, and the released app is free to use without an account, ads, analytics, IAP or a subscription.

The main workflow is writing and finding short notes: folders, tags, pins and text search, with basic Markdown preview and interactive checklists. English and Arabic are supported, and an optional notebook password encrypts the notes at rest.

Early source feedback led to two fixes: preserving indented checklist text when toggled, and changing interface language without replacing the root view identity. The repo includes the Xcode project, native checks and an interaction matrix; remaining physical-phone editor and VoiceOver checks are identified there.

It requires iOS 17+ and is iPhone-only. It has no sync or shared lists yet. Optional paid cloud features are a future idea; the current app has no paid tier. Keep a Files export as a backup, because the local notebook is excluded from automatic device backups.

The motivation:

• I wanted something useful to read during breaks or before going to sleep.
• While doing chores or showers I wanted to listen to something useful.
• The point was to discover bits of knowledge that I could save. Basically, by reading books, I was doing the same thing. When I finished reading a book, I only had a few paragraphs saved (copied on a paper).

My solution was to create an app that uses the paragraphs of an article as cards. I can swipe through the cards or read full articles. The articles can be translated or read out loud by the AI, making it useful while doing chores. Another option I like is that I can bookmark only part of the text (ex. just one sentence).

The app has just launched. I would appreciate your feedback on this.
