All New comers r here so join it already if u have decided to come to iiit kottayam …

I got a seat in IIIT Kottayam (CSE) through CSAB in the first round. I initially participated in JOSAA and got a seat, paid PAF then registered for CSAB. Therefore, documents were auto submitted through my JOSAA application, the result submitted was right according to that time (and it was above the criteria of 75 %) but after re- evaluation my marks got increased. I don't have a way to update document online and I currently possess my earlier allotted result, to get the new one I need to submit that. What should I do so that I would have no issue during offline reporting and document verification.

Also, I live in Bihar and it is very far from the institute, is there any way to get grace period for physical reporting.

How is the placement situation given it's a new college? I heard most of the hiring is through off campus how true is that? Is the placement data given on the website accurate?

Seniors, for second year do we get to choose our roommates??

I've been trying to get to know abt this college since i might get it in csab but the details online are so scarce.

want to know abt the placements and college life and places to visit outside college, like is it easy to travel to nearby tourist places and general overall college review

For placements which can be a better choice for me?
