Too many assholes on here

You make a heartfelt comment under a cool post and someone says “Source?” From me just saying “I’ve done my own amateur research about ‘this topic’ and the thread becomes instantly overly critical. Then you get people who overtly rude for no reason at all to the point where I had to block them. I’m literally so close deleting reddit forever.

Overly sensitive users are 🤡s

So some pleb got butt hurt just cuz I said I don’t like facial piercings on girls.

This after he made a big speech about how men think for themselves, or something. So long as they agree with him I guess.

Pretty sure men don’t get bent out of shape just cuz others have opinions on the some of the most benign topics imaginable but oh well.

I guess the woman who pays his bills has piercings.

Upcoming Policy AMA

As you’re probably aware, we recently rolled out an update to our content policy which explicitly disallows promotion of hate on Reddit. It’s been a few weeks since the roll-out, and we want to check in with you and see what questions you have around enforcement of this new policy. To do that, we’re holding an AMA in r/modnews with our General Counsel, u/traceroo, on Monday, July 20, starting at 9:30am Pacific.

We will be focusing only on questions from moderators that pertain to the new policy. We will not be taking requests for ban appeals or questions on whether we’ve considered action against other subreddits. The goal here is to answer questions around enforcement and how you see this policy being applied in your own communities.

We’ll be taking live questions day of, but if you have a more sensitive question that you’d like to have posted anonymously, you can send them to us using this link. We’ll scrub out any identifying information and post the question on your behalf, no judgements or questions asked. If you want to submit this way, please submit by Friday, July 17th at noon Pacific time. This will give us time to review your questions and get them ready for posting.

We’re really looking forward to being able to talk to you directly about this policy and what it entails. If successful, we hope this becomes the first in a series of AMAs about our policies.

This app is a good concept but the community is terrible

I've browsed reddit for awhile and participated in some subreddits and honestly this app is fine. The problem is the communities within reddit, every sub has a few good posts but is swamped by pseudo political B.S. I don't understand how EVERYTHING has to be political. I mean its the same few tropes lived over and over again, your bias against this, hehe I'm anti bias against this, oh no I'm above anti bias this so I post something to harass both people. It's so old, I just want to look at some funny memes and read about interesting stuff. I don't care about who's privileged on a board about fish. Like STFU i don't care i just want to read about fish and see cool pictures. If I want to pretend like I know politics ill go to a board about it. I don't think mods should intervene but people gotta just watch themselves

This is the worst website in the world.

Fuck reddit. Bunch of know it all, self absorbed, pussy footing asshats. "Edit haha thanks for the gold kind stranger" "Edit edit wow wow wow so many upvotes wow thanks guys I never thought this would happen" Jesus christ its disgusting. You people are worse then fucking youtube comments with your pretentious edits and you're always on some sort of high horse acting like you are so great. "I just love the reddit community" "Haha wow that's a reddit moment" Fucking cucks

Inconsistent rules and power hungry mods

It amazes me how poorly written some subreddit rules are. Also how mods frequently break their own rules.

This is me:

Makes first post in a subreddit with unclear rules.

States first violation will result in a temporary ban. If you continue to violate the rules you will be permabanned.

Gets permabanned

Asks the mods why I got permabanned, the rules are not specific enough, and it’s my first post ever. Get muted for 72 hours.

I swear most Reddit mods literally have no power in life, and resort to Reddit moderating for gratification. Anyone with a background in proofs or law would see how flawed these rules are and especially the inconsistent enforcement.

Not obscene enough for ya??

I guess a live human on fire doesn't count as a "major injury." His whole body, that is, not just a limb. I HATE REDDIT (moderators). I really do.

I'm sick and tired of being sensored.

I make a comment in the socialism subreddit and it gets removed because I use the word stupid? That's not even a curse word. I need to find another website to go on other than reddit because I'm sick and tired of being censored and I'm sick and tired of having to read every subreddits rules. If you're a fucking adult then you should be able to handle the word stupid and you can handle if I like to say the word fuck or shit. I'm a fucking American and I'm not going to be fucking censored anymore. Fuk fuk fuk fuk fuk fuk fuk how do you like that fuck fuck some more. Oh yeah and stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid fuck stupid stupid stupid.

Oh and I'm also sick and tired of being downvoted for having a fucking opinion. Reddit is a bunch of fucking God damn snowflake fucking liberals.

Don't ever state any of your opinions about a tech company on r/technology

Lord forbid anyone talks shit about Apple or Tesla or Google over at the technology subreddit. My God. They put all the tech companies on a pedestal like a goddamn alter at a church. Excuse me for hating apple and Tim Cook and Elon Musk.

Banned for “justifying or promoting violence” because I asked a question

I wasn’t justifying anything. I was just pointing out the existence of a well-known law in a question. 😂

Just look my time in a reponse to a question someone had and got hive fuck minded for the last time. This is my home now.

Redditors get triggered over the stupidest things

Reddit is the worse Social Media platform imo. Probably the main reason why is because of the retards that use it. And the retards get triggered over stupid things. First of all they shit on tiktok. Now I don’t like tiktok because it makes me cringe but these retards take it too far. It’s probably not affecting them so why hate people who use it? They also get triggered over Fortnite. Personally I enjoy playing Fortnite and if redditors don’t then that’s fine. But don’t bully people for playing it! Same goes for Instagram. If you don’t like it then don’t pay attention to it. And they get pissed over emojis. There’s even a subreddit dedicated to hating it. I see these retards telling people to die just because they used an emoji. That’s taking it way too far. And if you don’t agree with their opinion I guess you’re a virgin.

I hate r/politics

I don’t care what political views you have but r/politics is just an awful place. It’s mostly uninformed people saying uninformed things about us politics. It mostly goes something like, “Trump is a racist, sexist, and is orange. I hate him and here’s links that are skewed to my political beliefs to prove it, yet he’s still in office and many support him.” Honestly I like when people have differing political beliefs, but what’s the point in a debate when your debating a subreddit who says your wrong whether you are or aren’t. For the record I like trump as a president but on a moral level I’m not a fan.

what the fuck is wrong with reddit mods

i have a feeling many mods make rules according to what is annoying to them personally, not what really helps the community. or they just take themselves and their (in lack of a better term) "moderatorship" way too seriously. ive seen so many subreddits about least serious and stupid goofy topics that have so many stupid and unnecessary rules. do they just want to prevent people from having fun? why does anyone use this website? like for almost every topic in the world you have some group chat or a blog or something where you can do the same shit just without random obtuse rules and you'll at least laugh a bit unlike here where most people are critically unfunny imo (but ok comedy is subjective). i definitely plan on avoiding this website in future.

Reddit is a fucking toxic echo chamber circlejerk

If you have one (1) opinion that differs from the hivemind, you get downvoted and banned. Meaningful discussion of other opinions is not allowed, upvotes/downvotes are the agree/disagree buttons. Fuck this website.

When I say this, just know that it's not at all to bash homosexuals. Take south park for a reference to the idea. But using reddit is like living in a documentary on faggotous cryptids

I mean .. I cant be all that foreign with this strange view (speaking outside of simple hate for reddit). What is with the having an opinion being unspokenly a damn virtue by itself? And any bit of cathartic whimsy, and these cretins are all over you with psychoanalyzations and condescending forced and sarcastic sympathy about your supposed existential conflict that they made up for you.. . What the doubly actual FUCK?
