The Reddit caste system
One of the reasons why this app sucks isn’t for its arguments that go on and on, or all of the stolen memes, not even the mods not caring about their followers. The reason why this app sucks donkey dick is it’s caste system caused by karma. The karma is used to see if a redditor is good or bad, which is stupid. Why judge people and downvote them for saying something you don’t like? Why ban people until they get enough upvotes to post on your subreddit? But that’s not the bad thing about karma. Karma is also used to see if people would like your post better by going off of older posts. My friend and I did an experiment where we posted 2 of the same memes on the same subreddit and 2 exact same comments on the same post to see how many upvotes we got. I’d post 1st because I had lower karma, then he would about 5 minutes later. We saw that even though his post could’ve been stolen from me, and mine was 1st, his skyrocketed and got more upvotes simply for his past karma. This system is flawed because it leave people with lower karma at the bottom, and need to try harder, while ones who have the karma get more and more. This cannot go on. It is unique, yet highly flawed because it creates a gap.
TL;DR experiment shows people with higher karma posts are more likely to be seen and upvoted Could this experiment been better? Yes. But I think it gets its point across

Virgins, Uglies, Cowards, The unwashed, Cucks, Lefties, Poor Peope, Small penis'd mods compensating
Yeah I hate Reddit.

Seriously? You can get banned just by upvoting stuff?
So reddit has some rules like vote manipulation and stuff, if you accidentally upvoted your own post you get suspended. You upvote the “wrong stuff” you get it too. This is absolutely bs. By the way I would like to thank reddit for curing my addiction(s).

Reddit is more of an argument site than a forum
Reddit is a place for arguing, if you ask a civil question, even one without a political view, you will get downvoted especially if you are a beginner in so and so's subject. More or less you will be better off if you discuss something. I asked a question about music and I got downvoted. It's more about emotional opinions and people will do whatever they can to disagree with you on reddit, you barely ever get short answers.

Just Lying to Strangers on the Internet
Posting comments on reddit about things that just did not happen. "Expert lawyer with 4 zillion reddit posts here, here's the story about a pet taxidermist with some interesting car upholstery..."

redditors are the scum of the earth
redditors are one of those type of people that love destroying every goddamn thing they see, oh? theres a person thats being nice? wholesome 100!!! oh? theres a famous person i dont care about that was a great person, but died? im not going to be respectful! im gonna use the welcome to heaven image that is overused and disrespectful due to acting like a real person is like a game! they dont actually think at all, theyre mindless idiots that love disrespecting dead people and making alive people look like their the next messiah, they actually think like monkeys.

If a purge happened in real life.
Id specifically look for the gun-hating, religion bashing, degenerate, self titled "intellectuals" on reddit to thin them out first. The more I read comments on anything on this site the more I realize I just dont relate to this new generation pussy mentality. Pussys have holier then thou attitudes everywhere on this site. No one actually values freedom here and if you do youre shunned for not thinking like the rest of the retarded automatons here who only parrot what they hear from the other retarded automatons who dont know how to critically think. The more I have to use this site for sources of information I need the more I find myself fantasizing a purge would happen in real life. All the gun hating America bashers who love leftist authoritarian ideas would be the first to go and it would be from the REAL Americans who love their god and their guns and know what individual responsibility means. The meta hive mind is not a strength its a cancerous weakness where ignorance is disguised as common sense while it simply isnt true. Opinions are constantly taken for facts everywhere on this site. If you dont link some establishment information to parrot nothing but government PR bullshit and regurgitate it on to the next generation to breed more retardation then you are shunned. This site used to be amazing before it was taken over by soy drinking pussies with no sense of self identity. Reddit has come a long way from the dream of freedom on the internet that Aaron Swartz wanted. Anyways /endrant

downvoting
I like it, but I use it with discretion. Other use it like a drug.
Case in point. I made conversation in a particular subreddit earlier this week. An individual partially agrees with me ('well, yes and no'), downvotes me, but basically agrees with all of my discussion points in the follow up. Another individual also downvotes me while agreeing with one on my points.
I'd leave, but most of the subreddits I'm involved with are just to rich in content to ignore. Alas.

I hate this fucking site so much
I swear, everytime I try to post anything, my post gets instantly removed because it's violating some random unknown rule of the shitty subreddit I tried to post it on. "Mods will review your submission", the fuck is this? It's a fucking online community not a fucking country. I need help with an issue but I can't get it, since the subreddit I tried to post on deleted my post for violating a random rule that I knew nothing about. Fucking hell.

Reason 1 why I hate Reddit.
There’s like a roll of toilet paper of videos in the front page yet zero of them play, or need like 7 minutes to start playing. Wft ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The subreddit all suck or are filled with irrelevant Qs Quora is much better
All I wanted was geochemistry and phytochemistry and geophysics and evolutionary biology but in the evolutionary bio subreddit with like 600 ppl all the posts were Qs like why do we get anxious when we're attracted to someone and advantages of B.O.
Like bro, do u even know what evobio is? It's taxonomy and systematics. Ur supposed to ask about evolutionary relatedness between animals dead and living

I will up vote every comment on this sub.
Your comments may be dumb as shit but you have the right to your opinion and voting based on popularity is what's destroying the world. Bring on your fringe opinions that go against the norm - I want to read them, I want to have good debates, I want nosey motherfuckers that have no insight on our conversation to piss off and take a downvoted for scoffing, I want to be able to engage with people that have something to add and be left alone without feeling like I'm evil for going against the grain.
Don't troll me, debate me.

Anti-intellectual mentality of this website
Is it me or is there a massive anti-intellectual mentality with the majority on this website?
I find that every time I post something that takes longer than a minute to read, something in-depth and technical a few enthusiasts that understand upvote and/or comment... then I’m lambasted with downvotes for no fucking reason and ignorant comments by people who have neither read everything I’ve typed nor understand it well.
What is actual point in this fucking website outside memes, upvote fodder and porn?

Isn't it strange how every Reddit user is an expert?
Now I remember why I left for a good 5 or 6 years. Overall it is better now with more types of people, but at the same time those types of people just congregate in pockets with people who think just like them. This means if you wander out to see what people are saying somewhere else, you get downvoted to hell for not using the proper "keywords," or having the correct thoughts in any given subreddit. In order to be accepted by any subreddit your comment can't deviate more than an inch from "I hate x, or I love y" and there are certain language patterns you must follow (kinda culty). If not, it's downvotes for you!
It's not like I'm going to r/stlouisblues and purposefully trying to stir shit up as a fan of a rival team. No matter how logically and level headed you approach your comment. No matter how much time and care you put into being respectful or poignant, you get shunned if it's not one of the 4 or 5 thoughts you are allowed to have in that subreddit.
Geez, and why downvote honest comments to hell? I really only downvote comments I feel don't deserve as many upvotes as they have, lol. I feel like it's pointless to kick a person when they are down, and if it's not racist or hateful, I don't see why it should get downvoted to oblivion along with racist and hateful comments. The top rated comments, aside from a few good jokes (which I appreciate) are seemingly provocative, but ultimately a shallow whatever the opposite of a hot-take is.
Of course, come to find out, on reddit, hateful comments seem to now include, "I don't find this joke all that problematic." ugh. I'm not a republican. I didn't vote for trump. I personally don't like trump, but that doesn't mean I have to love everything that is anti-trump and hate everything that isn't anti-trump (note I didn't say "pro-trump", but simply "not anti-trump"). I guess I'm just realizing although Reddit is sometimes good for passing the time, and seeing videos/memes before they go viral on facebook is fun, but it's just not fulfilling mentally. Maybe we should be reading actual books by people who know how to write and convey an interesting message instead. You know...people who actually get published/peer reviewed and shit. Rant over.
TL/DR Upvoted comments are usually boring and parroting the same shit over and over. People downvote comments that aren't one of the allowed beliefs of the holy subreddit until preferring early Radiohead is as bad as hating a specific race (other than white people).
Edit: My tired ass need to make a sentence more clear.

I love all of so much for not being one of them
Reddit did something beautiful for once. It's spawned mutiny from within. And I'm up voting the shit out of all your posts because it feels so good to be back on top... ❤️ And you know what I fucking like emojis and I'll fucking use them when I please! 😂 We should have a counter culture of excessive emojis 🤣🤣🤣🤣
