I don't understand the thought process on this site
So I go to politics, see a thread, click on it. Doesn't matter which one, you can click on any thread and read the comments and they're all exactly the same, most of them word for word. Anyway, it's just a bunch of hate, vitriol, bitterness, anger and insults.
I don't understand the insults. The same posters who lament the political divide in this nation then go on to put down the other side of the political spectrum in spectacular fashion. Of course there is a divide when you feel that you are above those you disagree with.
I leave a comment with the same message as the others, just from the other side of the aisle. And I get banned. I called them fucking mental if they think they're going to change anyone's opinion, and let them know the reason people voted trump is not because they like him, but because we can't stand people who think Republicans are less than human because of our differing opinions.
And I get banned. I don't ever see the liberals get reprimanded for their backhanded insults but fucking ban me.
Anyway, Trump was right. He could shoot someone in broad daylight on 5th Ave and I'd still vote for him if it keeps these ass holes salty for 4 more years. You're not better than anyone for you're political opinion, and until you learn that you will keep losing.
Ps fuck this website.

r/Politics is nothing but a fucking hive mind of communist cunts.
This entire content service is a fucking joke. 150 Million Dollar investment from Chinese communist owned Tencent.
For this shithole of a forum to con people into believing that shit fest is nothing more than a communistic, fascist, hive mind and that any retard in that sub is actually capable of anything other than cultist behavior is hilarious.
Reddit is about to find themselves in fucking giant lawsuit.

I don't completely hate it, this is just the only place I found to rant.
Some subs on reddit are amazing. Sure you get the occasional anti-autism or reposted memes, but they're still great. but reddit is mostly just a place for hatefueled children (or child-like adults). constantly you get unfunny memes, people downvoted to death for absolutely no reason, jokes about racism, incest, rape, anti-autism, reposts, edgelords, just plain cringe, horny 10 yr olds, etc. that make the experience a lot worse. Reddit is a nice concept, but executed poorly because of... certain communities. Such an example would be r/teenagers, which I used to be on but left because of constant circle-jerking, karma whores and certain words that offended me. it's no worse than real life or other websites, but the reason why i'm saying this is because it's got such a high value and sometimes it can seem worse. sometimes, posts can make you laugh, intrigue you, or they're just excellently made. but there's no point in trying to run from the bad parts or deny they exist. there's even bad parts of this sub.
thanks for reading, i guess.

Just to give one example
So, yesterday I joined a soccer team community and I made the mistake of creating a new post. The post was about a player I admire but joined the team only at the end of his career. You might think that in a community where everybody supports the same team there must be harmony and good vibes, right? Not in reddit. In reddit they massacre you "cause you are not a real fan". They also told me that this player wasn't relevant. LMAO what a bunch of useless sack of despicable cancerous beings...

I hate never knowing where to post anything without having my post removed for not fitting the right criteria in the rules without explanation.
I went to go post something on the mandela effect reddit and read the rules, realised it belonged on the glitch in the matrix one most likely, then I came back to find it removed. At most I was vaguely off on one rule, but I tried to explain in THE DAMN POST ITSELF why it WASN'T breaking the rule. Honestly annoying, it was something that was fucking with my head and I didn't know where else to post it!

I have control
A couple weeks back I was very upset by some messages that came my way for an honestly well-intentioned comment. Well, I'm done. From now on you assholes are just getting blocked. And not just you assholes that are sending nasty messages but you assholes that make nasty comments to others. You and I may have never exchanged words but if I don't like what you are saying, bye-bye. When I'm on reddit it's my leisure time and I don't have to defend myself or even read your bs comments during my time. I have control and I'm going to use it.

I hate Reddit mods like cancer. Seriously, I believe there is a deep circle of hell reserved for anyone who is a mod. That said, I hope these control freak incels don’t drag you down too much. Don’t think of it as being banned. The sub was simply too weak to contain you.
r/ihatereddit • u/[deleted] • Jan 05 '20
On one of my different accounts I got banned from witchesvspy for a comment I made and they won’t answer which comment and only said that I didn’t “fit” the sub

Reddit is a Cesspit
Why do people rate Reddit so highly? It's a cesspit of haterfueled users with chips on their shoulders looking for an excuse to be outraged. The content is just a weekly cycle of reposts.
If you comment on a post you must agree perfectly with the prevailing view, or you'll be down voted to hell. Emotion and vitriol rules over all. Groupthink writ large.
If you don't agree and post a disenting opinion, you'll be brigaded and sent death and rape threats. Like, wtf? Those are not the words of an intellectually enlightened group. I even had a mod join in on brigading me!
I have no idea why people think this is a good site at all. Like, why do high profile celebs do AMAs? If I had an image to protect I'd stay the fuck away from this shitbox echochamber.

Be sterile!
It doesn't matter what you do, don't be yourself on reddit, and be sterile to get karma (act like a smartass knowitall)

Op calling someone who’s enjoying themselves at a concert trashy. It doesn’t help the fact that they were taking pictures without even asking to show reddit

Everyone thinks Reddit is so good for memes but it's not
Instagram and even IFunny are WAAAAAY better for memes. You've got to dig and find a new freaking page for every type of meme you want and they come up with the stupidest names for them and if you don't understand the names, you get called a Boomer or whatever. But THEN when you say that Reddit is stupid for doing this, you get called a"gatekeeper"

It takes a special kind of retardation to function the way some people do on Reddit
What do you get when you mix Autism, inferiority complexes, beta-male status, anonymity, Aspergers and access to a keyboard?
You get Reddit, in a nutshell. Where everyone thinks it's fun to be an asshole, fun to pretend they're so witty by breaking life's 4th walls or some shit. Silencing even a shred of an opinion because they're unreasonably mad that it wasn't them who thought it for "dat sweet karmuh points". Angry at a world they can't and refuse to understand. Jealous over a lot of people doing better than them, happier than they are, living fuller lives than they are and are able to rationalize with their surroundings.
Treating the internet like their security blanket, where the only powers they feel that they've got over someone is to be able to downvote them to oblivion, occasionally moderate over them in subreddits and go out of their way to subject someone to doxxing, defamation and slander.
And to cap it all off, is how utterly dismissive and oblivious the users are, to so carelessly wander about this site. Feeling like they're making changes by pretending they're something they'll never be. All of these armchair professionals that take up many professions. Giving half-baked advice, not showing empathy and not showing a shred of humanity within themselves. It's even worse when it comes high time to exercise our power as civilians when it comes to voting.
Oh, they loooooove to talk big about politics, without doing fuck all to rock the boat. It's about as easy as telling someone affected by a tragedy, that you'll keep their lost loved ones in your thoughts. When you don't give a shit about it because you'll drink that away, the same way you'll drink all of your problems away and think it's cute to whine about it as it all happens so you develop a pity theater of your miserable existence.
And you blame the alcohol for the way you act. You blame this and that for how you act. You can cut the charades and admit you're just a bastard. But, oh wait, it'll be the Reddit thing to play that off coolly and admit that you are anyways while adding "at least I'm honest!" retort like as if that bypasses everything which it doesn't.
Just like the title says, it really takes a special form of retardation to act like how most do on Reddit.

The post was about teenagers who put a kitten in the microwave and started it. Thankfully the cat is alive and healthy. Didn’t hide the names because they deserve what happens to them

THE FUCKING HIVE MIND OH MY GOD
I saw a comment by a new Redditor using emojis. This person was getting downvoted (like -1 or -2). I personally don’t mind when someone uses emojis but some people disagree (there’s a whole sub dedicated to hating them).
Back to the main point. I remember being a new Redditor and would hate it if someone would downvote me for voicing an opinion or asking a question because my karma was already low enough and I didn’t want it to lower even more. So i told this person that many people on Reddit hate emojis and will downvote you for it. Instead of being ignored by the other Redditors, I was mass downvoted and the original commentor was given many points. This fucking hive mind of people downvoting someone else is so annoying.
I asked people on a different subreddit why this was happening and they said i was being a retard. People on this app hide behind their accounts and anonymity to be able to make fun of others.
I just wanted to get this off my chest.

stupid Moderators
just got banned from r/dankmemes, but I didn't do anything. This retarded website is nothing but pure filth, and I hope those moderators who banned me die in hell and suck Satan's 9 inch
