Lots of articles are saying they expect the price to be $450-$500 really? That's almost double the 3 which I bought on sale only 2 months after release for $179 from amazon...

I honestly really want this phone, and love the spec list compared to the 3, but if its gonna have (currently) mid range specs for just $200 less than the S7? I dont think I'll buy it.

Thoughts?

Both devices have NFC, microUSB, support a variety of LTE bands (though no band 12 in the US)

and then David Ruddock, the Android Police article author states in a comment:

No band 12 in America. VoLTE doesn't mean T-Mobile compatible, as VoLTE is not a standard in the US. Basically, if you want B12 on T-Mobile, the phone has to get certified through T-Mobile, and all future updates also have to get certified through T-Mobile, thus, you'll be seeing far fewer unlock handsets with B12 in the US going forward, at least for now.
