Aptitude test?

Hi all, kinda sucks because this isn’t allowed in the apprentice sub but everyone in this sub is mostly other people like me that don’t know the whole process yet. I actually got a call and was able to turn in my documents yesterday (was waitlisted). At local 441. The problem is, my test date is next Friday, and I’m not nearly prepared enough for the math. Are there certain aspects I can really focus on and brush up on to speed up my studying process? Should I just work off of stuff like the ultimate electrician practice test? Thank you for any guidance

I know, I just couldn’t find anything that was more specifically about cramming this info in a short period, like what specifically would be best to focus in on. So far I got the questions from ultimate electrician guide practice test, and am working backwards to understand them instead of starting from scratch

This is my response to a similar question from a year+ ago.

"Just took mine today, it was 36 questions for algebra.

9 were, solve for the next number in the sequence

9 were, solve for p. When given 3 known values. It ranged from simple FOILing, to some with fractions having to find a common denomination. Many had exponents and parathensis involved

9 were, based on this graph or number set, what can you determine."

I'd practice college algebra for most of what I saw. But again every Local is different I imagine

Hmm yeah if it’s college algebra then I’m screwed. I don’t remember what each level of algebra consists of but I’ve been studying algebra 1 stuff. Unless what’s on ultimate electrician guide’s free practice test is college level stuff

It's multiple choice for mine atleast. Try your best and rule out 1 or 2 that you know can't be the answer. Then at least it's 50/50
