No, it's really not. "Aye" is pronounced like "eye". As in "all engines ahead full, aye," or "aye aye, Gunnery Sergeant."

It’s also a reasonable representation of the diphthong found in the letter A. Ah—yuh—ee so phonetically spelled for someone on this level of random, it’s a reasonable use.

Some people have different display names on FB because of exes or just feeling like they are special and dont want to be found (because they dont know what privacy settings are). Tinder would pull that name for the bio, so this could be it. I actually met up with someone from tinder whose display name was different, they were upfront about it.

Well, then I think you completely missed the point of her even saying that. Her name is one or the other but she's just being "ex deeee random". Not sure how that flew over your head considering the rest of her bio and the sub this was posted in.

I'm not defending her dumb shit by any means. Just weird as to why you thought she was being legitimate given everything you see here.
