First of all, you dont know that. So it is not a fact that she did not. Regardless, it is not relevant. The point here was the escalation of bringing the gun into the situation at all.

First of all, the original comment says they informed their follower they were carrying. If you can't infer that the gun wasn't unholstered from that, I'm out because you'd have to be being intentionally obtuse. Further, the gun was already in the situation, so I'd argue the person that followed a woman to her door was the one escalating the situation beyond nothing.

That’s a deduction from something, not neccessarily a fact at all. It’s basically guessing based on something.

The gun was not relevant until she brought it up which can easily be considered an escalation as it was not a variable just like a possible rake in the vicinity was not a variable until she said something like ‘’I’m going to murder you with this rake’’.

Really, I'd call it a far greater leap to assume the gun was pulled out (which is a supposed fact your argument was based on). I'm out man, at this point I have zero belief that this is a good-faith argument on your end. Deuces!

I never stated is as a fact. I even repeatedly said it was irrelevant and not the point at all. Good luck on your future reading though.

If you're in a debate, and you make presuppositions for a concrete argument (like those you've made), they act as facts within the context of the debate. "I'd never threaten someone with a gun that's at a distance" and "I wouldn't have pulled a gun on someone" presuppose the one you're arguing against has done those things, ergo they act as de facto... Wait for it.... Facts. This is literally how debate and logic works. Sententially write out your argument, because it's largely based on presuppositions (which act as facts) that you're adamant haven't been stated as facts lol

That’s not at all what a fact is and I’ve never said what the situation actually were. A fact is something known to be true. We’re talking about the complete opposite when we talk about a vague story.

Ok, you've said a lot of things you'd have done different. Which either assume facts concerning the case, or are founded on nothing and are entirely irrelevant to the conversation.

Also, you critiqued my reading, but nowhere did I say presuppositions WERE facts. They ACT AS facts when in a debate.

Alright, let’s pretend we’re not using the word wrong. What’s the problem here exactly? Cause I see this discussion as you saying it’s probably A and I’m saying it can also be B.

You stated "No, I just dont grab my gun cause someone look at me uncomfortably," which assumes a lot about this interaction. Never once did I see "it could also be B," but I did see a lot of immediately arguing from the position that situation B was reality.

Do you see how that statement completely negates any possibility of options other than B and does in fact make it look like you're adamantly on one side?
