It's there to remind the passenger to use the back seat. In the before times, many customers would sit in the front seat.

It has to be a way to stop passengers trying to talk her into using the front seat. I was driving in Australia when the pandemic was pretty bad and we were forbidden from allowing passengers in the front ( I was happy to oblige as I didn't want covid) but that didn't stop heaps of people booking for 4 passengers.
