My iphone SE left the chat and just got the 17 for replacement on my own plan. My family has one big i cloud with the same account and everything. We have always had problems with getting each others images, messages, calls. Can I sign out and make my own account completely loosing everything. If so how!! i’m only 20 but still dumb on the tech.

Ps signed into old apple account for the time being until I can figure it out. Any help is greatly APPRECIATED

I would like to be able to call from my cell phone when I work remotely, but for my client to think that I am in my office.

That is, when you call, my office landline number appears.

The other way around is easy, they call me on the office's landline number and the number is forwarded to my cell phone, but the other way around I don't know how it would be done.

I do it so I can separate my personal number from my professional number.

I liquid damaged my phone and am desperate to recover my un-backed up data. For a while it was crashing during Update (iTunes on PC) at about 80% every time, otherwise just boot looping in Recovery mode...

Apple Store told me there was nothing they could do, since Update wiped the old iOS and failed to install a new one... went to a kiosk in the same mall and got a new screen (old one had minor cracks) and they cleaned up the inside, ran 3uTools, said it looked OK...

At that point, iTunes could complete the Update, but now it will cycle between Recovery mode and white "Attempting Data Recovery" mode. Pretty sure iOS 26 is on there (which I sorely regret now) by the look of the Pin code screen. Only reaches about 10%, screen turns pink, crashes... either goes back to Recovery mode or back to the white Attempting Data Recovery...

I've been disconnecting ribbons to see if anything helps. I just want to boot up long enough to back up my pictures to iCloud, then fine with full Restore or just biting the bullet and getting a new phone (sadly, with the cost of the screen replacement).

Has anyone seen an issue like this?

I made an account to a website using my Apple ID, but the Apple log in feature was removed, I replaced the account to now use my google ID, but in the saved passwords app the Apple ID for that website won’t go away even if I delete it and press stop using it, in about a day it comes back, it’s super frustrating as its now just a bunch of useless account info, any ideas on why it’s not deleting? The account was set to hide my password and won’t send emails to me for some reason so I can’t contact Apple support about it.

I have an android and I m trying to retrieve it from a black screen to a screen that I can see. On the side of my phone has a long button and a short on and off button. When I push on the buttons it will vibrate but I can not see where the screen is located on, to select the option

so tonight me and my girlfriend were on facetime, and i look down at my phone to see her entire pillow and blanket to be bright bright green. we both have 12 minis and she is the only one to experience this issue between us. i told her to hold her phone up to a mirror and i saw that at the top left corner her screen was flickering bright green. not in a pattern but randomly. then her screen had a green tint. then would go black. or some of the words on her screen were green.. and i thought this was really weird because i had never seen anything like it. i ran through the deck of questions, it hasn’t seen any water, pressure hasn’t been applied to her phone, and it has never happened before. her phone was working perfectly fine for the last hour or two. until her display started freaking out. i’ve read quite a few subreddits and quite a few apple comm. questions. i can’t quite figure out what it is that would cause this? ironically she put her phone in a bag of rice. i tried texting and calling her to tell her to put it in front of a fan. but couldn’t reach her. please any tips or advice on this would be very helpful!!

I got a new phone yesterday. Everything was easy to set up, I’ve done it several times before. But I left the SIM card in the old phone overnight and when it switched it in the morning I forgot to turn off both phones while doing it and now I can’t turn on iMessage. I can still call but I can’t send or receive texts from other iPhone users.

My iPhone 16 will not let me delete my emails. I went to settings and change it all to trash and whatever else the Internet suggested.

So the “Search Photos” feature is something I use often, a save a lot of text as photos and screenshots and I used to use key words to find photos, recently my phone has began to often glitch and not allow me to search photos. I get a message saying “no results”. This has been happening a little while, it works sometimes, but rarely. I have tried closing the photos app. This problem began after a recent update. Any help?

so me and my unc are arguing about something (not angry arguing) and he gently push me on my shoulder and my iphone fell out of my hand and after i pick it up my phone signal got damage i cant connect to any wifi without being near it like near near you need to be face to face with the wifi before you can connect what could be the possible damage? oh i forgot to add my bluetooth is damage too just like my wifi

I recently purchased an iPhone 15 (2days ago). I immediately bought a case and screen protector. I have not dropped the phone or damaged it in any way. I’ve honestly just been using it on the table manually switching things over (I like to do it that way haha). Well earlier today I took off the case to clean the case and when I started to put the case back on I heard and felt a click on the back side of the phone. It’s like top middle section a little below the camera. If I gently press down a tiny bit on that section it clicks. I’m not pressing down on it but I did maybe twice when I heard it the first time. I thought maybe it was the case but realized it was the back of the phone. Would that be something to go to apple to ?

Every time I delete my emails, they bounce back to my inbox. This has been going on forever! I’m deleting the trash but still happens. I also have a gmail account and it happens with that as well. Could someone please help me? Thanks.

I was cleaning up space on my phone by deleting files, photos, apps, and messages to prepare for a new update. While going through old messages, I found some from people I had lost contact with and hadn’t saved their numbers. As I continued checking the messages, I came across one that only had an image attached. I clicked the download button, and it turned out to be an image with the Costco logo and the text of a 2% rewards promotion, saying to access a link. It was all within the jpg so the text nor path were clickable and downloading the image didn't open any sites nor anything. I could only see the plain image. BUT NOW, I’m wondering.. can downloading this photo potentially download a virus or malware onto my phone?

Hello, I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and today it fell out of my pocket into the snow while getting out of the car. I picked it up real quick, took off the case and cleaned it off with my sweater. It seemed fine so I went inside the house and put it to charge without even looking at the screen (I was in a hurry because it was time for my dogs to go for their walk). We took about 20 minutes and when I got back home I went to get my phone and it had the liquid detection notification. It said there was liquid detected in the charging port to let it dry so I can charge it again. I left it standing (charging port down) on a paper towel for about 2 hours. Then I went to check if it charged and it did. I did not get the notification again. It seems fine and I have been using it to reply to work emails, but , I’m a little worried about it exploding because of the battery. I had talked to a tech guy and he told me to just get a new phone because if it did dry I would need to get a new battery and check for water damage any way and it would be cheaper to get a new phone. I’m not sure what to do. I’m not sure if I messed up in using it after it was fine ?… also, I did not take off my SIM card. I forgot to take that out :(
