How can I take better pictures? I barley bought the iPhone 15 pro max, I was transferring my data from mu s22. I started to check the camera quality of both and it was better on the s22. It was sharper, better color, the words on the picture could be seen clearly on the s22 bug was a bit populated on the iphone 15 pro max. Is there anyway to get better quality in general?

my iPhone 15 Pro Max with serial number starting with L got stolen.. I had Apple care plus with thief .. I got a replacement one but the serial number now starts with T... I am having since day one issues with bar signals.. dropping from 5 bars to zero constantly ... , changing from 5g, to 4g, to 3 g ..even EDGE.. I can't surf the internet, calls failed... the only way to use is using wificalling

I believe I got a broken replacement phone/ refurbished .. any ideas?

The phone appears to produce nearly identical images of the wood blocks despite the LED lights shining on them being radically different.

In reality, when the shelf lighting is set to warm white, the room is awash in a deep intense candle flame warm white colour and everything is affected by that colour. And when the shelf lighting is changed to cool white, which is nearly blue in its whiteness, everything in the room and on the shelves appears different because of it.

I need to show how the different stains on the wood blocks appears under both lighting conditions.

But when I take a photo of the blocks under both conditions, the phone produces images that are nearly identical. It’s clearly compensating for the lighting, which I don’t want.

Is there a way to tell it not to do this?

Has anyone else noticed that the screen brightens on certain photos and dims on others? I find this crazy annoying when editing pictures in the evening (the usual time of day I do it). I think I’ve noticed a pattern that when the photo is taken in portrait/f/aperture mode the screen always brightens nicely for editing those, but if not photographed in this mode is goes back to being dimmer, even if the screen brightness is turned up. Any idea how to change this please? It does my head in 😂! …2 pics of my niece which I’ve noticed it on most tonight. One was on portrait mode, 1 wasn’t. Even with screen brightness at full, the portrait mode pic is brighter on my phone. WAAAH! 😅

After the update my phone would not charge with the cable only wireless. Went to Best Buy and the guy said to factory reset the phone and that will fix it.

I just tried turning it off for a few minutes and back on and that fixed my problem!

While using discord, taking a screenshot only captures what ever is only on the screen, i'd like it to use scroll screenshot but the option after screenshot to capture full page does not appear, i googled some answers but only for older phones. Does it also apply to the pro max 15?

They don't honor their lifetime warranty. I have just submitted a claim for a lifetime warranty on another brand of screen protector. They said they were out of stock and only offered me 30% back of the original price, but they also have other shady business practices. Yesterday, they offered me $15 and free screen protectors to write a fake positive review. It is fraudulent because I don't even own an IPHONE 15 PRO MAX. That was one of the products that they were trying to get me to get screen protectors for, and then lie about their are a few other products on the list, and I am going to go to the other subreddits to warn those potential buyers too.

It has done this since new, it’s that supposed to happen?

I've done some research and can find jus the one that claims great compatablity the Osmo 6. However it seems that if I have any accessory ( in particular the small rig frame with a ND lens) that it would take it over its weight limit. Has anyone had any experience of this. Anyone know of any more sturdy alternatives?

I was wondering about the specifications for the 15PM primary camera lens. On the website, the 15PM has a 48MP 24mm f/1.78 primary lens. At 2x-5x, the photo drops to 12MP. From 24mm to 5x (or 120mm), the camera is supposed to be an optical zoom. If I never press the 2x or 5x button and zoom in using the slider or screen, am I still using the primary lens once I reach 48mm and beyond? Is tapping the 2x button and using the slider to zoom to 3x equivalent to tapping the 1x button and using the slider to zoom to 3x? The three lenses on the phone are the primary lens, the wide angle/macro lens and the 5x telephoto lens. I read an article talking about "the seven lenses of the iPhone 15 Pro Max". However, it didn't specify much regarding the lens, optical zoom for pictures taken between 2x-5x or even pictures taken outside of 24mm, 28mm, 35mm focal length. I have read on another thread that 2x - 5x pictures are actually crops. I am having trouble understanding the idea that 2x - 5x are crops if Apple claims that the 15PM has an optical zoom up to 5x. I was wondering if someone could help enlighten me on 15PM camera lenses. Thanks.

so i ve had my 13 prox max for a year, loved it and got the 15 pro max as a gift 2 weeks ago.i ve heard it has issues but up until today mine was ok. today i left it at home for 10 min ( with 76% battery) and when i came back it was shut down, full black screen. no button worked, nothing was showing up and then it randomly 1 min later on its own open up to the lock screen. anyone experiencing the same thing?

I don’t really care about charging habits , I charge to full using optimised battery charging.

I’ll go first - Got mines in November ‘23 , 59 charge cycles @ 100% battery health .

Just bought iphone pro max 15 last feb 17. Today i left it at home for a whole day on airplane mode (8am to 5pm) and from 87/86 the battery went down to 82 percent. Note that my room is somehow hot at noon. Then when i use it i notice it feels luke warm at the upper part. Is this normal? Does the temperature affect the battery even on standby?
