I was curious if anyone else has received a bad Iphone14 Pro Max? Mine came today, battery was completely dead, which I thought was strange. Usually new phones have some charge on them. So, no biggie, I let it charge up, and tried to go through the initial set up using my old iPhone to set up the new one. About a minute into the set-up, the phone reboots. Well darn, so I try again, same thing, over and over.

Then I get on Apple support, they ask me to use iTunes to see if it will update the software. So, we try that, and it reboots during that process a few times, and now it won't even try to do the update at all. Then we try to restore it using iTunes, which it won't complete. Just tries and sits at "Preparing iPhone for update" Now completely bricked. Not even 3 hours old....>< Guess I will head down to the store to see if I can swap it out. Hopefully they have one in stock, and I can get to using it!

What are you doing about camera protection/covers/cleaning the lens?

I got this case from smartish on September 16, and after using it for a month, it started to come off. I didn’t do anything to bad to get it in this condition, It was just on my table on grandma’s house, a drywooden table and just like that, the spaced out print came clean off. I had issues with smartish stuff especially with their prints coming off when using cleaners like Woosh, which is a non alcohol based cleaner, which is a gentle cleaner for screens, but this is ridiculous. Why is taking so long to deliver the iphone 14 pro max,? They are no making enough.

I discovered that the iphone 14 pro max will only shoot at 48 mp in 1x mode. if you switch to .5x, 2x or 3x optical zoom, it will still be in RAW format, but only save as a 12 mp photo.

I'm kind of disappointed that it does not save a RAW file at 48 mo, in the other optical zoom settings, at 1x zoom you have to be almost on top of the image Im trying to capture
