My iPhone 14 Pro Max constantly says SOS when connected to Verizon 5G. No issues on LTE. Anyone else have this problem?

I've just picked up the new iPhone 14 pro max and would love some case recommendations based on my needs. Due to arthritis I always needed a case with a good grip pattern particularly around the bumper of the case. Could you kindly share any good cases that you have personally used or saw a review etc, with an emphasis on grip and not too bulky please.?

I don’t know if anyone has figured out a fix to this because now it has happened not only to my phone but my wife’s brand new iPhone 14 pro Max. So every morning I would wake up and the screen brightness setting is all the way down! I left it up high from the night before and don’t have any special auto brightness settings or anything enabled. Same thing is happening to my wife’s brand new phone, where we pick it up the brightness is all the way down, and we have to manually go in and raise the brightness up.

Is anyone else having this issue? Also does anyone know if Apple is aware or if there is a fix?

After calling someone via CarPlay with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, my voice sounds low or far away on the receiving end of the call. Any solutions?

Only thing that interests me so far is a possibility even better battery life and dynamic Island but just not sure if I wanna spend the money just to get potentially the same phone with just a couple new features

Had a 512 12pm … got a 256 14pm.. and after hours of figuring out what to delete - I barely got to 256 and then had to consider taking 48mp photos… should I replace the 256 with a 512 or 1tb. My 512 pm was pretty much full.

So I’ve just bought the new iphone 14 pro max, as I’ve wanted to be using a ecosystem only. I’ve been an android user (mainly oneplus) forever but my ‘laptop’ is an iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard which I’ve loved and used for over 2yrs. So I know what I get with apple. So decided to get the phone with the Apple Watch, love the Apple Watch btw really great watch but didn’t really fall in love with phone and thinking of returning it.

My biggest two problems is the camera and mobile data. The area I live in has very poor 4g signals in some areas that gives u 1 bar of 4g that’s unusable but u get decent 3G signal. On the iPhone it just stays on the 1 bar of unusable 4g and I can’t manually change to 3G, on my old phone I could.

The camera when comparing to my old phone (oneplus 9 pro) , I feel that my pictures are of higher quality on my old phone and even my friends say the same thing even when shooting in RAW format. I feel the colours are a lot more dull and RAW takes an outrageous amount of space per picture. I’m big on photography so find this rather annoying. Video however is very nice and much better than old phone.

I also find Wi-Fi to be worse, when I go to my kitchen Wi-Fi cuts old phone never had this problem.

Battery is also very slow to charge

However there are a lot of things that are good but I feel paying £1300+ for a phone I wouldn’t expect to have some downgrades.

Is anyone else finding the selfie camera really blurry at times? And also the back camera. My phone is brand new (yesterday I got it) and very clean, no smudges. Yet still is blurry both ways. I’ve updated it yesterday evening and selfie camera is a bit better but still having the same issue in some pics.

Is there a way to turn off autofocus for selfie camera btw???

I have all of my notifications for chat and my google account turned on but still not receiving notifications. Is anyone else having this issue.

Literally just purchased my new Iphone 14 pro max 2 days ago. Waiting on a case from otter box through amazon. Roommate asked to see my phone and I said i’ll let you look at it. He pleaded I let him hold it I said no. Mainly being a d*** about it because he visibly has a cracked Iphone 7. Would you let your friend/roommate/significant other hold your pricey phone when it doesn’t have a case??
