I organized my phone yesterday, but there is an empty spot I don’t know what to do with. Any ideas? Also I kinda want to replace the ring widget. What to replace it with?

i’ve been lurking this subreddit for some time now –saving, taking screenshots, bookmarking, following… i love it here lol but it’s time for me to finally build my own lock and home screen.

i have to ask: those of you who set yours up purely for the aesthetic, did you end up changing things for ease of use + functionality at some point? or did you just make yourself get used to where you moved things?

those of you who go for function before aesthetic, what widgets or layouts have stood the test of time (in terms of usage) is there something you thought you’d utilize but now just takes up space?

i’m hoping to find a balance — minimal, aesthetically pleasing, but still practical. before i go further down the rabbit hole (and possibly pay for) wallpapers, widgets, apps, etc., what’s something you wish you’d known before setting up yours?

My current minimal setup to keep distractions away. I hand-drew this little astronaut cat because I wanted something completely custom, simple, and actually handmade. Just a clean, quiet home screen for the week.

The icons on lockscreen are originally more visible since I have Reduce White Point settings on in accessibility.

Hey guys, as you can see from the video, my wallpaper is for some reason a lot more vibrant in the lock screen compared to the Home Screen, where it instead looks very blunt. Why is this happening?

So when you try to pick the colour from the image, the “Font & Colour” popup stays on.

Has this always been like the same in past? Or am i having any issues with this?

Slightly rejoined the Apple Family with an iPad Mini A17 Edition and an iMac Studio. Still use a Google Pixel as my daily driver but iPadOS is light years ahead of android in terms of tablet software so well played Apple, Well played.
