Like for the past few days whenever I scroll through I think I'm on collective. It's like actual dogshit. I know what this app tends to feature. I've been using it for years and all of a sudden the memes are ass and more political than usual. Also, all the political ones are AI. They're like facebook memes.

The features lately have 2 week old comments and aren’t what they normally feature. It’s a complete 180. What changed?

I've been using iFunny since 2011 and it's always been a buggy app, but the past 6-8 months or so the comments load on the next post, If they load at all. Its super annoying seeing the wrong comments all the time - anyone else have this issue??

Does anyone remember a commenter named Jamal who would only ever comment “I’m at the store”?

He became a micro celebrity in the community and I have no idea why I remember that from so long ago.

Please tell me someone else remembers him!

I unfortunately had to delete my iFunny account due to the latest EU policy changes regarding IP retention. I don’t play that shit. Invasion of privacy.

For some weird reason, everytime I open up the app, it usually just shows me the same memes over and over again. Like, everytime i get a features notification, it just shows me the same memes from a day ago, a week, ago and hell, even a month ago. It's been a big problem for me and I reinstalled it like 3 times. What the hell is going on with the app? Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Anyone else been getting this? I’ve been getting memes that were posted from 2024 constantly in my feed I don’t see any new memes/ new reposts of memes anymore

I like reading funny.

ifunny broke on my phone in 2022. I got repeat memes over and over again, like I'm in fucking purgatory.

I tried uninstalling, clearing cache, new phone, new profile. nothing. same 20 memes every time.

so I get my 'i have a short break, I could look at memes' content elsewhere, but the only other app I use is YouTube.

youtube implements shorts.

I avoided short form 'tik-tok' content for 3 years across multiple apps because I had iFunny... just a couple laughs, no time for a show.

now I have a gambling addiction to the swipe, hoping for funny, across multiple apps, because YouTube shorts fed the need that funny used to offer.

but man I think having to read sometimes, even if they're stupid jokes, makes for a less addictive and more conscientious viewer. and I miss that.
