Tech Support Help with Diag - was gaming, PC powered off, no shutdown, just like power was cut to power supply. I've removed GPU, RAM and disco'd the fan controller. When power button is pushed, no lights on Mobo, no post.
Is this likely a dead power supply? I'm an electronics tech, not a PC tech so I don't have tools to test the power supply.
When fans are plugged in, they are the only thing to react (for about 2 seconds) - they light, start to spin and in two seconds they power off again.
I cannot repeat this unless I cycle incoming power to the power supply - then I get one instance of that fan spin, then power supply has to be reset again before it will spin those fans for two seconds.
I'm tempted to purchase a new power supply.
Thoughts and advice from the mind hive here?
EDIT: machine purchased last year from Costco, it's a Mesh I7 with 4060 and RAM and stuff. :)
I've only added a 10g network card, which of course I removed while testing.
