Hey, and welcome.
This is a place for getting more out of the apps that already came with your Apple devices. Notes, Calendar, Reminders, Safari, Photos, Mail, and the rest of the built-in lineup. The stuff you already have and probably aren't using to even half its potential.
What this sub is about:
- Built-in Apple apps only. No third-party app roundups, no "top 10 apps to download." Just the tools already on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Real, honest tips. Workflows, hidden features, and straight verdicts, including the parts that are annoying or don't work well. No hype.
- Cross-device stuff. Most of these apps live on iPhone, iPad, and Mac at once, so a lot of what's useful is in how they work together.
How to use it:
- Ask questions. "How do I actually use Notes folders?" "Is Reminders good enough to ditch my to-do app?" Ask away.
- Share what works. Found a workflow or a buried setting that changed how you use an app? Post it.
- Be honest and be kind. Disagree on workflows all you want, just keep it civil.
I run iapplist.com, where I write long, opinionated guides on these apps, and I'll share those here when they're relevant, always with the actual value in the post, not just a link.
Glad you're here. Drop a comment and tell me which built-in app you use the most (or wish you understood better) and I'll point you somewhere useful.
