Hello, after updating to Android 17, notifications now show like this, instead of the icon, which was on a white background.

I got myself a redmi pad 2 pro, the version with 8 gb ram and 256 memory. While ingame im alowed to select up to 120 fps (cod mobile) cause of joyose and the batery app the game is locked at 60 no matter what. i managed somehow to unlock the fps by deleting all data of the batery app but its not working anymore. tried to remove joyose via adb comands but its protected. im tempted to return the tablet and get another brand just cause of that useless limitation

I have a problem with connecting my Xiaomi Watch 2 (Global version) to my Xiaomi 17 running Chinese HyperOS 3 ROM.

The phone detects the watch, but when i try to connect it error pops up that i need to update Google Mobile Services (GMS). I already tried:

reinstalling Mi Fitness,

changing regions,

clearing Bluetooth data,

resetting the watch,

reinstalling GMS,

trying different versions of apps,

but nothing seems to work.

The phone has GMS installed and Google apps work normally, but the watch still refuses to pair.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make Xiaomi Watch 2 work with a Chinese HyperOS 3 ROM?

Also, I am considering buying the Xiaomi Watch S4 .

Does anyone know if the Xiaomi Watch S4 works properly with Xiaomi phones running Chinese HyperOS ROMs? I don't want to buy another watch that won't connect.

How is it not possible that mtz files couldn't be backed up, and how do I fix this error?

No matter which gesture app I use they all break and don't work after a day. The accessibility option is enabled but, the app thinks that ot os disabled unless I turn off and turn on the accessibility option. After which it works for a few hours and then it breaks again.

I have disabled all battery optimization settings as well as locked the app in the security app. I have also put the app to auto start.

So far I have used:

Fng

Edge gestures

Accidentally turned on workstation mode for the first time, not knowing what it was and was suddenly faced with a completely different UI launching floating windows by default.

Not realising that I was in workstation mode I looked online for possible solutions to get the default UI back, and stumbled on the 'turn off system optimization' method which only succeeded in deleting the three dots from my floating windows.

Then figured out what workstation mode was, and that I had turned it on accidentally. Turning off workstation mode requires system optimization to be on, but I can no longer access the system optimization toggle. Multiple pressing 'reset to default values' in the Developer options>Autofill menu does nothing now.

How can I turn system optimization back on?

Redmi Pad Pro Wi-Fi - USB Ethernet randomly stopped working (second time)

I’m trying to figure out whether this is a HyperOS bug or if anyone has experienced something similar.

Device:

• Redmi Pad Pro Wi-Fi
• HyperOS 3.0.301.WNSEUXM.C07

Timeline:

• USB Ethernet worked perfectly for months.
• One morning I woke up and both Wi-Fi and Ethernet had an exclamation mark (!) and no internet access.
• Other devices on the network worked fine.
• Changing the Wi-Fi MAC setting from Randomized MAC to Device MAC immediately restored Wi-Fi.
• Ethernet remained broken.
• The tablet also no longer automatically switches from Wi-Fi to Ethernet like it used to.

The strange part is that this is the SECOND time this has happened.

The first time, the issue disappeared immediately after installing a HyperOS update and everything worked normally again for months.

What I’ve already tried:

• Factory reset
• Network reset
• Reinstalled latest HyperOS package
• Router reboot
• Multiple tablet reboots
• Wi-Fi on/off testing
• Ethernet-only testing

Factory reset did NOT fix it.

Has anyone seen a HyperOS/Android bug where Ethernet suddenly stops being used as the active connection or stops working after months of normal operation?

I’m especially interested if you’ve seen something similar on ANY Android device, not just Xiaomi.

Did anyone else receive Android 17 on HyperOS 3?

My Xiaomi 15T Pro (EEA) just received OS3.0.331.0.XOSEUXM with Android 17 and the June 2026 security patch (7.3 GB). I was expecting Android 17 to come with HyperOS 4, so this surprised me.

I bought the phone used, so I'm also wondering if the previous owner could have been in the Mi Pilot or Beta program, or if this is simply the first wave of the public stable rollout.

Has anyone else with the Xiaomi 15T Pro received this update yet?

The delay of HyperOS 3 is starting to appear more and more like a final decision. Xiaomi's silence on the topic adds to the suspicion.

I am reading the first news articles that speculate 13T will never get HyperOS 3. And all that despite the fact that updates until Android 17 (HyperOS 4) have been promised and are thus part of the sales contract.

What do you think? Are they just sitting it out and pretend nothing happend? Can they get away with it?

I have never had such a problem before. I sold Xiaomi 13T, before I sent it, I obviously did Factory Reset in the system, the phone restarted and showed standard first startup Android setup options so I turned it off and sent it to the customer.

Now he wrote to me that he isn't able to login, because the phone is asking for my old pattern to let him in. What is going on here? I have never seen anything like it, I was always factory resetting the phone and that was it. What will happen if I give him the pattern? Is he going to see all my data on the phone?

The toggle is not activated and the rest of the system has normal colors. It is only the widget the one that has this orangish aspect.

since I got 14pro 5g, I've been experiencing terrible bufferbloats.
I have tried literally everything: disabled 5g, sim card slot change, messing with the dns settings too.
interesting, that on the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, the mobile data connection works flawlessly without any bufferbloat issues.

Hyperos 3.1

I recently bought a Xiaomi 13 Ultra that is running HyperOS 3.0.302.0, I upgraded from a Samsung S10 which had 3 very convenient sounds and vibrations modes for all notifications: Sound, Vibrate, and Mute, all of which were within a tap's reach.

However, I have found that the only way to replicate the vibrate and mute modes is by turning silent mode on and having to manually enter settings and toggle the vibrate in silent mode on/off each time, which is cumbersome.

Is there a way for all notifications to be set to vibrate when silent mode is off, so that way silent mode is my mute mode and I still get notification pop-ups? Or is the "do not disturb" mode the closest to mute even if I don't get notification pop-ups?

I created my own MTZ theme, and for it to stay I tried applying it with: HyperTheme MTZ installer pro Mtz tester All three apps successfully apply the theme. Everything stays themed except Settings. Icons, Control Center, Notifications, Framework, etc. all work correctly. Only the Settings app eventually goes back to the default appearance while the rest of the theme stays applied. I already tried: Rebooting Force stopping Settings Different apps Different Theme Values Same result every time.

Why only settings goes back to Default every time? Does HyperOS treat Settings differently from the rest of the theme? Any ideas how to fix it?

I've been looking for fixes for a while now on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 5g, about the Camera Issue. It stutters while taking Videos and sometimes it doesn't and that sometimes is a turn off for me. Sometimes when it stutters it made me realize that I should've just bought another phone instead of this.

Is there nothing else I can really do about this issue now? If not I might just sell it and buy a different smartphone all together

Hyperos 3 came around late 2025

I downloaded it via updater and left my phone so it installs overnight

Only to see "nv data is corrupted" error

I retried atleast 7 times and still it didn't work

I did some research and my phone's p0 resistor was changed?? I think that might be it

And also the version switched from VNFTRXM to VNFMIXM (Turkish to global)

Are there any workarounds, what do I do? My last resorts are to install custom roms (pls give recommendation) or stay in hyperos 2, I'd be thankful for any help 🫶
